The tour guides Xiomara and Juan Miguel were very nice and Xiomara is especially knowledgeable and taught us a lot. When we purchased the tickets tho, I told our salesperson I am disabled. I have cancer and although I look healthy to most, I am not very healthy and I get very tired easily and my body wears out quicker than the average person. I would have liked to been told when booking that it is strenuous and very hot and not a lot of rest stops,as I was told there was. I know im not the only disabled person who has been on this tour who may look healthier and struggled to keep up and to stay cool. I can do activities but not strenuous ones such as this and I feel they should tell you that if you are disabled, everything you will be up against. The number of hours the entire tour takes, the amount of time you will be sitting in the van traveling, the amount of time you will be on your feet, the amount of stairs you will be climbing, and especially that you will be walking on rough terrain and LOTS of rocks! They do tell you to wear comfortable shoes, but no one explaines why, and I dont want anyone else to suffer the way I did today. The sights were amazing and I still had a good time but I dont think it's fair that I wasn't honestly warned of how much I may struggle and suffer. I really pushed myself hard today and it will take some time to recover from this.
