Excellent service from a great company! We use their maintenance and repair services for the last 2 years. Storms came thru last night and the generator didn’t kick on. I called at 8AM and was on the scheduled the same day. Repair guy (Austin) was very polite and even gave me some tips for how to identify the problem sooner. 10/10 Less

We bought our generator from GenTex. The salesperson, Mark, was on time to the house to spec out our needs and provide our quote.On the day of installation, the crew arrived at the scheduled time. The crew consisted of Austin, Tucker, Robert, Justin, & Aaron. I liked the way they divided up the tasks that needed to be completed. One-person handled electrical, plumbing and the remaining team worked to dig the trenches and run the electric wire across the attic.Once they had all aspects of the job completed, they fired up the generator. The lead tech Austin walked me through how the unit works, what to do in an emergency situation, and how to simulate a power outage for breaking in the motor of the generator under load.I'm very pleased with the service I received. This is my experience with GenTex Elite in Conroe.We had our generator installed last year. We had a few quotes, and GenTex Elite was competitive.They did a comprehensive load analysis, and they had the Generac available when others had long wait times. We signed the contract, and once the city and HOA had approvals, we were installed within a week.We have had our Generac for about a year now, so it was time to have the annual service done.Aaron came to our house to do the service today. I have heard that some companies just change the oil, and check that battery, and that's about it. GenTex Elite's service was very thorough. The oil was changed along with the filter, the battery was inspected, and all of the terminals were cleaned. Aaron also cleaned the interior of the unit, even though it really had very little dirt inside. He also checked the run time, cleaned out the transfer switch, and tested the transfer with a simulated power outage.Aaron also took the time to review safe shutdown instructions. We have been fortunate not to have had any extended outages since our installation, but it's always a good idea to protect your investment with proper maintenance. I can gladly endorse this company for fast professional installation, as well as thorough service after the sale.Well done GenTex Elite!We just had our annual service done today.It was professionally done, and the technician performed a full load test to verify the performance.
