Austin killed all my poison ivy and also treated two other hard to kill plants that were taking over the wooded area of my lot. He followed up several weeks later to see if an additional treatment was needed. It was. He arrived on time and retreated some poison ivy and other vegetation that wasn't present during the first application. If you have a poison ivy problem, Ditch The Itch - Poison Ivy and Mosquito Control Service is the company to call. I would recommend them to my friends and family. Austin is awesome and very knowledgeable about a wide variety of vegetation through 12 yrs. working in the nursery industry.

I didn’t believe that the 1st treatment was going to last that long before needing to be treated again. I was so used to calling my last company (who I was with for 8 years!) every 2-3 weeks to be re-treated since the mosquitos would still be biting like crazy.I can honestly say that Ditch the Itch exceeded my expectations! Do ask how the herbicide will affect various plants you wish to protect/keep. In my case, around edibles. I have poison ivy in a rhubarb patch. Therefore, I will have to get in there myself and dig out the poison ivy because the herbicide will harm it. Lilacs are also sensitive, as well, but it can rebound over time. Overall, I am relieved the out of control poison ivy is taken care of and now I can monitor and handle new sprouts from this day forward. Thank you Ditch the Itch!

We love Ditch The Itch! We had a lot of issues with excessive amounts of mosquitos in the back yard. Austin was super knowledgeable when I called to inquire about treatments. We were hesitant to start treatments due to the chemicals, but we decided to give it a try anyway. We have this beautiful property with amazing wildlife and we wanted to be able to sit outside and enjoy it. This has been one of our best decisions we have made! We have been able to enjoy sitting on the patio and watch some amazing birds, woodpeckers and even a fox, with minimal mosquitos trying to get to us. Joey is the one applying our treatments and he has been so friendly and caring as well. My husband and our dogs came home during an application and he made sure to stop the treatment so everyone could get inside safely. I 100% would recommend them to everyone.

When Austin first arrived we walked my entire property looking for areas of concern for mosquito's and poison ivy. Austin really knows his stuff, he pointed out problem plants and vines. When Austin left after the first treatment, he said there was a good chance that we wouldn't need bug spray again. He was RIGHT! We love sitting outside during the day and at night now with no bugs at all. I would recommend anyone that wants to enjoy their yard all summer long to give Ditch the Itch a try.

Austin from Ditch the Itch was just the help that I needed! Austin identified immediately that the pile of weeds that I had pulled had quite a bit of poison ivy in it, hence the exposure. He walked me around to show me the differences between the three leaf plants that are and are not poison ivy. I had no idea it has different types. What a great experience with Austin and his company. I started searching around Google for poison Ivy specialist and after a few phone calls, all of which I didn't leave a voicemail, however within 30 min Austin called me back and we started talking about my situation and what I'd like inspected. I was able to make an appointment within two days. The inspection went great and he even spent the time not only with my original concern but also educating me on the type of trees and plants on my property and which ones should be treated due to diseases. Austin was also in no rush and spent well over an HR onsite answering any questions I had. I will definitely be using his services In the summer.

We have been using Ditch the Itch for the last two seasons for mosquito control and we couldn’t be happier! We were getting swarmed by the mosquitoes as soon as we stepped outside last summer before we started services. We have been able to enjoy the summer nights outside and on the front porch without getting bit up! Austin and Joey are both so knowledgeable and helpful.

Easy appointment set up and the entire process is like a well oiled machine. We've been prisoners to mosquitos since we moved in. We couldn't even walk from the driveway to the house without getting swarmed! After a single treatment, we were out back enjoying our patio, gardening and grilling with NO mosquito bites! We haven't had to use repellent all summer! And they were very very respectful of making sure they avoided pollinator habitats and other sensitive areas. I couldn't recommend this company more. Professional, courteous, fast service from top to bottom.
