The CNA course I took at HCTI was one of the best financial decisions I’ve ever made. Ms Michelle is extremely passionate and knowledgeable in what she does, and you can feel that in the class. You can tell she really cares about what she’s teaching, even though it’s accelerated, she still finds time to break it down so it’s digestible and gives you real life examples too. I learned so much from her, I’ll definitely be taking another course soon. If you have the chance take the class and experience it first yourself you won’t regret it. Thank you so much! 100000000/10

I completed the phlebotomy program at Health Careers Training Institute in 2025. While I appreciate that the course was offered at no cost and that Mrs. Michelle was personally kind and definitely has the passion, the overall program lacked structure and consistency.There were multiple issues, including building relocations, classes ending early, limited hands-on training (only one live stick), and no formal graduation. The clinical experience did not prepare you for real-world preparation. Since completing the program, I have been denied every job I’ve applied for, and many employers require additional training. Although job assistance was promised, follow-up support has been inconsistent and messages have gone unanswered.I hope the institute improves its organization, hands-on training opportunities, and post-graduation support so future students are better prepared for employment.

Ms. Michelle, the instructor, is a great teacher with a wealth of knowledge as an RN. I enjoyed my time in the CNA course at HCTI. I needed the CNA course as a pre-license requirement for UofL’s Accelerated BSN program. I wasn’t disappointed with my decision to go HCTI. On top of those looking to become CNA certified, I highly encourage those that need their pre-license CNA requirement to go through HCTI.
