We took our recently adopted 10 month year old Terrier mix to Double H for the 3 week off leash program. I was fearful that my mini bundle of energy and excitement would struggle if I’m honest. My fear was that she was a little too smart for her own good. I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. Our trainer, Sam, was so patient and kind with her. The difference after 3 weeks is truly amazing. To see this ball of energy go to place for 2 hours, sit and down on command, walk on leash and off leash in heel is incredible. This will be something we do for all our dogs going forward. It truly is an investment in their happiness and ours too. Thanks again Sam, Zach and the rest of the team.

Our dog was very troubled from some past experience, we didn't know what. Dakota worked with her for two weeks and she came out of her shell. She no longer fears her leash and walks like a princess.

Evan did an incredible job with our two-week drop off training for Sadie. From day one, he was patient, knowledgeable, and really took the time to understand her personality. She is a wild one. We saw such a difference in her focus, listening skills, and overall behavior in a short amount of time.He and anyone else we came in contact with, communicated clearly through the process and gave us things to work on at home. We are still working on Sadie's reactions to other dogs outside of the training walls but thanks to Evan and everyone at Double H Canine Training Academy we feel confident and equipped to keep building on her progress. There is a lifetime guarantee with the training so that sets our minds at ease as well.I take Sadie back for the "doggie day care" every now and again just for the exposer to other dogs. She is a work in progress.We are so grateful for the foundation given and would definitely recommend this training for anyone looking forward for dedicated, effective dog training.

Dakota was awesome working with our dog Blue! He was super patient, really knew what he was doing, and honestly went above and beyond for us. We saw so much improvement in Blue in a short amount of time, and he always made sure we understood what to keep working on at home. Highly recommend him!

Zach is beyond good at his job. I took my dog elsewhere to try and get service dog training. They were a complete scam. In just 6 weeks, Zach completely turned my dog around and finished his service dog training. I couldn’t be happier for working with him. He’s a great guy and a great business owner and the best dog trainer in Kentucky by far.

Took my rescued german shepherd mix, four years old which had no contact ever with people or other animals. Samantha transformed her into the most obedient and friendly dog. I then took my two 4 year old maltipoos for training. They were always stubborn, but Samantha trained them to be very obedient. So happy with results, I can walk all three at the same time with no problem. Everyone at H H are helpful and friendly, and the drop off and pickup times were perfect for me

Samantha did an incredible job with my rescued Rotty pup, Salem! Salem is a sweetheart, but had major issues with food aggression and knowing when and where to go to the potty. She spent 2 weeks in puppy boot camp (I’m sure they call it something else 🤣), and no more accidents in the house, and our kitties can walk by her while she’s eating now without issue. They really know their stuff and I highly recommend them.

Can’t say enough about the entire staff and facility. Trainer Dakota exceeded my expectations. I will never own another dog that I don’t let the team over at Double H work their magic on. Thanks for helping me and my Wally communicate better with each other!
