I thought he was having an off day, but he was joking with his colleagues, just ignoring me. When he said, "what are we doing with your hair then?" I said, "Can you get rid of the sides --". They were quite long but before I could really explain, he cut me off (another pun!) to say "When you say that, I'm going to take it to a 0 and shave it all off". Like what? Sorry I'm not an expert barber, obviously I don't mean "shave my head". I wanted to leave as soon as he put on the cape, and the feeling didn't go away. I was just far too awkward and embarrassed to walk out. I felt very unwanted, like I wasn't supposed to be there. I paid cash. $38. I gave him $58. Rudely, "Well, how much change is that?!". Would not recommend. I wasn't going to say anything but this was a few weeks ago and it's still upsetting. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Less

I just want to complain about my personal experience on my second visit because I paid $50 for my haircut and beard trim and I'm really upset by a mistake made by Jack. I like the shop, the guys, the beer, it's overall a highly recommendable Barber Shop. I just want to complain about my personal experience on my second visit because I paid $50 for my haircut and beard trim and I'm really upset by a mistake made by Jack. (Top notch barber and bloke, but we all mess up from time to time). When I got a line put in my side part, he put it in half a centremeter below where my hair parts, which he didn't see after he had wet it and combed it over. What that ended up looking like when I had a shower and dried it out was two lines instead of one with a line of uneven hair inbetween, hardly the smart, clean cut I had paid for. I went straight back to the shop and another Barber trimmed the hairs in the strip inbetween the two lines to fix it up until it could grow out a bit more. (See picture attached). I was too polite to ask for a refund but I personally would have offered more compensation than "let's just try and clean up the mistake as best we can". I was happy with everything else and would still go back, no hard feelings to any of the guys there, I just wanted to express how annoyed I am at this mistake. EDIT: The owner Rob got in touch with me and personally offered a complimentary haircut and beard trim as compensation which I'm very happy with. Looking forward to going back next time and I appreciate their professionalism in handling the mistake. Less

Trendy and good cuts. No appointments just old fashioned walk on in and sit down. Open on weekends is a real plus.
