He brightened my father's (and mother's) day the moment he walked in the door. He cheerfully attended to my father's care, and helped in so many other ways without being asked. He just knew what to say and what to do to make things better. So after my father passed away, it was an easy decision to ask him to stay on and look after my mom, and Alan and Linda made the transition so easy.Besides being a kind, listening ear and a helping hand, Oral is vigilant about helping my mom avoid the scammers who have unfortunately multiplied since my father passed away. He alerts my brother and me if there is anything at all we need to be concerned about. He has told us many times that he's only a phone call away if we need him, and every time we have called, he's been there.I would give TenderCare (and Oral) 100 stars if I could. Less

We are so thankful for Alan Pearce and his family, and caregiving crew (staff) particularity, GeGe, Pauline, and several others who cared for our elderly, recently infirmed parents during this past year. From my initial call to ask questions, to the many follow-up calls due to our long distance away, to the problems that surfaced with the changing needs of care, to the care during a critical hospital stay for their complex and different needs. We knew this was going to be difficult to find the level of care with the balance of being there but "unseen", helping but allowing independence, not taking things personal (when one doesn't feel well...well, you know....) and all the understanding and compassion that goes along with that. These caregivers were dutiful, stretched and patient, Alan is second to none in his genuine care and rapt attention to get things worked out with a feasible solution, and with many different family members with different concerns, yet none of us readily/locally available. The family is thankful for the peace of mind that allowed us to regularly visit but keep our lives at home away intact as transporting was not a good option. Thank you ever so much, Alan. The second agency provided care for two months, but was constantly having trouble keeping the 24/7 schedule staffed. Caregivers were frequently changed and they used 6-7 caregivers to staff the schedule, which was very confusing to my Mom. Almost everyday I received calls about scheduling and other problems. At one point to my horror, my Mom was left alone for over two hours when there was a scheduling problem. I contacted TenderCare on a Sunday afternoon, after hours. I received a response in less than an hour and within three hours was informed that they would be able to staff my Mom's schedule with 4 caregivers (each working a 12 hour shift) by Monday morning. I spoke with the owner, Alan. He assured me that TenderCare never calls with problems, they call with solutions. I can attest to the accuracy of that statement. When TenderCare began providing services the rate of calls immediately decreased to once in a great while...once or twice a month, maximum and always with a problem solved. The schedule was stable and the caregivers professional and compassionate. The owners, Alan and Linda take personal attention to a new level. They both came to visit Mom when they first began providing services. They called her to check on her well being and satisfaction during subsequent weeks. On her birthday they stopped by with an orchid, cupcakes and balloons. When it was necessary to bring a new caregiver in, they always had the caregiver come to the house ahead of time to meet Mom and to get to know both the home and her needs. Having the experience of 3 agencies in the Treasure Coast area, I can only say that TenderCare is the very best. They provided both me and my Mom with excellent services and peace of mind.
