DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!I hired blue ribbon landscapers 2 Months ago for a very simple grading project. I wanted some dirt brought in and grade the slope in my backyard. When the Estimator came out- I told him what I was looking for. I also told him- make sure the trucks drive close to the fence-in order to avoid the septic lines , make sure you guys put down with plywood or ground protection mats to prevent turf damage and not leave ruts in my nice yard.They absolutely DESTROYED my lawn and caved in septic lines because they didn’t drive near the fence line and didn’t put down Mats!!! Instead they were turning around in the yard!When this happened they assured me they will quickly fix it and make sure I’m good. well, it’s been 2 months!!!! Nothing is fixed!!! I keep being pushed off because apparently their dirt contractors aren’t answering their msgs. I didn’t hire their dirt contractor. I hired them!!! It’s 100 % their responsibility to control the job and don’t destroy people’s Yards! I’m done waiting! I’ll have to take matters into my own hands and if they done fix this immediately I’ll have to file for damages! Come on guys… do better than this! Less

When I hired the service I had little hope since I had previously hired a similar service, except that they turned out badly and the fence ended up falling, since they had not prepared the ground as it should be, when I saw that they finished the new fence, I did I tested it and it surprised me, it turned out exactly how I wanted, how it looks, it looked pretty but at the same time that it was safe and resistant, it is honestly one of the best jobs they have done on my property, without a doubt I would definitely hire them again. From my consultation to the end of my project was roughly 3 months or close to it. When my project finally started, we had to deal with the effects of hurricane Helene which wasn’t pleasant. Throughout the headaches, having to constantly remind and keep the foreman on track of the design plan, adding some additional features, our yard turned out beautiful. The walkways were done with precision, in the front and backyard. We added stairs, making the transition a lot easier from the front to the backyard and vice versa. We had a lot of edging that was redone by the team, and now looks more professional. Ernesto, Walter, and the rest of the team really did weeks of backbreaking work and I’m really grateful! At some point we may add stairs the other side if I can put up with hassle!! I was hesitant at first about paying half of such a big amount up front but I had to put away my fears and trust the process. I’m so glad I did because our yard is completely done and we are proud homeowners, excited to invite friends and family over and not embarrassed about any portion of our home, both inside and out! Justin made sure that everything that was supposed to be done was completed with his punch list! The crew (2 different sets) completed everything on that list, staying true to their word. Needed my backyard re-sodded. Of the three estimates I had, his was the best price as I was upgrading my sod. The work is outstanding. I was impressed because Jeff not only provided the estimate for the job, he showed up with his crew and was hands on doing the job. Highly recommend Update: 09-06-2024 After the initial install a large area of the sod died. I called and Jeff with Blue Ribbon came out and got on his hands and knees and determined the dead area had a fungus but did have some green and rooted area. He decided to come back out the next day and treat the area with two types of granulated fertilizer. He told me to give it three weeks to see if it would make a difference. He told me if it didn’t work they’d replace the bad sod. He, Jeff, said they stand behind their work. Well after three weeks there wasn’t any improvement and I reached out. Two of the nicest most respectful and professional young men came out and replaced the bad sod with fresh green sod. I hope this fixes my problem but regardless I can’t recommend this company enough. After a Google search to find a landscape company to help with an erosion and water retention problem in the back yard we asked Blue Ribbon to give us suggestions and the estimate for the work needed to solve the problems. They were the only company to ask questions about the source of the problems instead of just wanting to build retaining walls and other useless stuff. So they asked us to take photos when it was actually raining to find the source of the flooding. After seeing the photos they came up with a plan and a reasonable estimate. Not the cheapest or the most expensive. They said the work would take 2 days but it actually took longer but as it was outside in the yard that did not bother us. There was a slight breakdown in communication at the start but nothing serious. All of the staff and contractors were friendly and polite. We are happy with the work so far but it has not rained yet to see if it has solved our excess water problems. I would hire them again for any other yard work needed. Less

Our front lawn had a tree in the middle. As the tree grew big, the tree and its stump were removed Because of the numerous roots that lie beneath the soil, no grass grew. Two guys from the Blue Ribbon Landscaping came with a mini-excavator, removed all the roots, leveled the field, planted grass and created a mini-garden at the back, all in 1 1/2 days. Jeff has been our landscaper for over two decades! He has taken care of all my landscaping needs not only for my home, rental house, but also for our commercial properties. At this point, we don't even get other estimates because we know that he's going to do an excellent job and the prices are going to be excellent. He has built steps and pathways for my parents' home, built stone steps, and built retaining walls for our properties over the years. I didn't realize until this year that he also installs sprinkler systems and maintains them. We moved to a new hose and the existing sprinkler person charged us a lot of money to fix burst pipes and broken sprinkler heads after last year's cold winter. Jeff told me what the cost of different parts are and that he could have fixed the problem and what he would have charged - I fired the other guy and now Jeff is now taking care of our sprinkler system too. If there's anything I need to get redone or if his staff has done something not to our liking, or if I want something done differently, he takes care of the issues. It is very important to us that we have a company who takes responsibility of their work rather than playing the blame game and not addressing the problem. I have recommended him to all my friends!
