We had a great experience with Gregg Electric. They responded to our inquiry right away, came out promptly to assess what we needed, and scheduled the work for a day that worked with our office schedule. They installed multiple new electrical outlets for us and were prompt, friendly, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. While they were here, they even changed out an additional outlet for us just because they noticed it needed doing — something we really appreciated.Excellent service and a great experience all around. We would happily recommend Gregg Electric and will definitely call them again when we need electrical work done.

Receptionist was extremely condescending, disinterested and unhelpful. Very poor front person, immediate turn off to do buisness with this company.

The folks at Gregg Electric were amazing! I called thinking I needed to book an appointment for my bathroom and kitchen fan and after a few minutes of troubleshooting via the phone I was back in business for both! Cindy was so helpful and pleasant to deal with. In light of this transaction I will definitely be giving them my business in the future.

I want to give credit where it’s due: Gregg Electric responded quickly when a tree damaged the power connection to our home. They accommodated us the same day, assessed the situation over Zoom, and the electrician who attended was respectful and completed the work. Unfortunately, my experience with the billing afterward was very different. Before proceeding, I specifically discussed pricing with their representative. I was initially quoted around $500, and after the Zoom assessment, approximately $700+, with the understanding that the final amount would depend on the technician’s assessment and materials required.I ultimately received a bill for $1,186.50, including a $960 charge simply listed as “Misc Service Residential,” with no breakdown. When I questioned it, I was told the $960 consisted of a $350 emergency after-hours call-out, $375 labour, and $155 materials. Those figures only total $880. After I pointed out the discrepancy, I was then told there was another $80 travel/material pickup surcharge that had been missed in their previous explanation. What bothered me most was having charges disclosed progressively only after I questioned the bill. I requested a corrected, fully itemized invoice, including a breakdown of the $155 materials charge, but despite their previously quick responses, I never received one.I have no problem paying legitimate emergency rates, labour, materials, permits, or properly disclosed surcharges. My issue is transparency. A nearly $1,000 service charge should not simply be labelled “Misc Service” and require repeated questioning to understand how it was calculated.I appreciated the actual service, but the billing experience significantly changed my impression of the company. If using them, I strongly recommend getting all rates, surcharges, and fees in writing beforehand and requesting a fully itemized invoice.

I had an outlet installed in my soffit for my xmas lights and an outlet placed in my son’s bedroom for a portable AC unit. I did a video call with Greg to get an estimate. He sent me a breakdown of the cost for each request, which was reasonable. The technician did an amazing job. The install took a couple hours. It was a very clean install with no wires visible.

We had a partial power cut to part of our property during a renovation project so we called Gregg Electric. They came quickly, and within 2 hours of arriving found the problem and fixed it (a breaker had burned out). Their electrician, Ben, was very personable and solved our issue efficiently.

Gregg Electric has a very quick response time. After I requested a quote for my home EV charger, within minutes, I got text message response and soon arranged call with Eldon. Eldon is very patience, explained things clearly. Later I also got connected with Gregg. Gregg answered all my questions and regarding installation, device to purchase, surge protection device...Technician came on time, after installation, everything is clean. It's a great electric service company that I would like to have more business with.
