My 87 year old mom, who has dementia, was admitted to the hospital after a scary incident and a fall. While there, we decided it was the last time we were going to subject her to the stress of calling 911 and going to the ER. We spoke to the owner of another hospice agency and were disturbed and unhappy with the interaction. The wonderful nurse who cared for my mom suggested we talk to John at Acacia. That made all the difference in the world. John was so warm, understanding , and informative. He changed our minds and attitudes towards hospice completely. He and his entire team have been so caring and supportive to mom, of course, but to us, her family, too. My mother has received the most amazing care, and John is there always, to answer all questions and assist in anything , and everything, we could possibly need. This has been a stressful, upsetting time, but the Acacia team has made it as easy and comfortable as it could possibly be. We really could not be doing this without them. And my mom is actually improving, and happy, under their most excellent care. I highly recommend this exceptional team. They are truly the best. ❤️

Acacia has truly been remarkable. My husbands father was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness and has chosen to just be comfortable. Adrian Esquivel was with us every step of the way, getting everything ready for my father in law and providing excellent communication. When he was moved to his nursing home, Aaron was there even before my father in law arrived and already preparing for his first visit. The care and professionalism has been 1st class and I cannot express how grateful we are to have this team behind us, supporting us in every step of this hard journey.

We recently had to make the decision for my dad for hospice care. He ended up in the hospital and needed professional care. We met Adrian, who walked us through all our options with a level of care and compassion I was not expecting. His knowledge of the healthcare system and what was needed was truly remarkable. Fast forward to the day my dad is being discharged from the hospital. Adrian had everything in place for my dad. They already had a team ready for him and everything moved flawlessly. When we arrived at the nursing home ahead of my dad we were surprised that Acacia had Aaron, a nurse, already there and ready to see my dad and make sure he was setup and taken care of. They continue to give me updates on my dad’s health even when I am not in the room with him. The level of care and communication is unmatched and I am truly grateful for this team. I know my dad is getting the care he needs with the dignity and respect he deserves.

I just wanna take a moment and say what an amazing experience we had with Acacia the past three months. My dear dad who went to be with God yesterday was surrounded by caring aids, case manager, and LVN’s the entire time. Nurses were available to me whenever I needed them and we never went without supplies. His final days were met with care, compassion, and love and myself, and my family are so very appreciative of Josiah, Laura, and all the others who came to check on and care for my father. Forever Grateful……

My family had such a wonderful experience with Acacia Home Health for the last few years as my mother who is 93 has been on palliative care for advanced pulmonary hypertension and COPD. Acacia has sent us a variety of fantastic nurses, physical therapists, social workers and specialists for respiratory and wound care. Acacia arranged for us to have x-rays, blood draws and outstanding urgent care at our home. We have been able to call them at any hour for advice. Their case managers and management are absolutely wonderful. We have experienced that they are very caring and they always treat my mother and me (the caregiver) as very important. They have helped us to get all of the equipment that mom needs. They answer all of our questions (sometimes doing research to find answers for us) on a variety of topics. We will be forever grateful to Acacia and their wonderful employees!

My mom was a patient on service. She passed in January 2023. The Hospice and Palliative teams went above and beyond. They were an excellent resource to our family. I reside on the East and had to communicate via phone and text while I went back and forth. Toward the end I had comfort in knowing she had a great team at her side. Thank you.
