I typically am not one to write reviews but for Versfeld & Hugo I had too due to how much their work has helped me and my family take some very important steps to becoming safe in the current state of how America is becoming. I had to find a way to provide this safety net for my wife and our newborn daughter. My wife had a Visa (which is one main reason why the process went very smoothly) and the first step was to sponsor her to getting her Permanent Residence which would then help alleviate some of the fear in this ever growing of fear of mass deportations etc...We began our process in May which took about 1 month to send everything about us and finally send it through immigration. The staff at Versfeld are very efficient, understanding, and very thorough. At first, I thought I could do the entire process by myself but ended up realizing I would make significant mistakes and wouldn't come close to the final product Versfeld & Hugo produced to send to immigration. Our case was 200+ pages long. A few months later we received our biometrics, had the interview end of November and its December 22, 2025 of the same year we applied and have finally received my wife's Green Card. This took us 6 months all with the help of Versfeld & Hugo. Every case is different - our case wasn't very complicated and my wife had already a Visa but considering all the changes that are currently happening this was a blessing and certainly an early Christmas present that we could not accomplish without the help of Versfeld & Hugo. Their prices are reasonable and surely it's an investment for the benefit and safety of your family. You can tell they really want the best for you in your case and Yesenia - the paralegal who took care of our case was exceptional. I first met Leon Versfeld under unique circumstances, I actually had just come back home from my first trip overseas to see my (at the time- Fiancee) now my wife in her country abroad. We were trying at that time to obtain a K1 visa, and were in process of filling out the I-129F form. My mother mentioned that one of the Christian men’s group he was in had a guest speaker who was an immigration attorney that was coming to speak soon and to me that felt truly like a God thing. So I attended it, and that is where I met Leon. I was able to ask him some questions after the conference, and thankfully he did a quick review of the paper work we filled out without charging us that first time. Around a year later my I-129F petition to bring my (then fiancee) now wife over to the USA got approved, and she had her embassy interview the December of the next year. It got approved and what a relief. Around a month after we got married and after we filed the I-485 (Application to Adjust for Permanent Residence) we received an RFE- Request for more evidence from USCIS, and we hired Mr. Versfeld and his team to assist us. The speed he got it submitted was very fast, we got the first RFE submitted with his help in May of last year 2024, and USCIS took around a year to process that one, then we got a secondary RFE notice on Feb 28, 2025, we again reached out to Leon and hired him to assist us, he submitted our RFE response on I believe April 24, Wednesday. After meeting with Leon he had it reviewed, finalized, and sent to USCIS by Fed Ex that same day. Yesterday on April 29th we at last got an approval notice from USCIS. Leon and his team have helped me with an L1 visa (as a one man business, I might add) and renewals of this visa since 2015, for a minor investment, processing and renewal fees, which over the entire period cost less than $100 000. My new renewed visa has just been issued and valid for another 2 years. So from 2015 till end of 2024 (total of 9 years), the investment is well worth it.
