I went for a reception. The food was tasty and fresh. I love fresh food that hasn't been frozen. The staff was professional and quick to notice needs and served. Everything was put out in a timely fashion.

My wife wanted to come here to celebrate her birthday because they have live mariachi playing. This place does not take reservations and there no waitlist. I called to ask about that and they said you'll have to be present to put your name down.There only certain time and day that a mariachi band would be playing so be aware of that. When we arrived, their parking lot was already all filled up so I was lucky to do valet parking at the restaurant next door. We were a big party so we put our name down and the wait was almost two hours.We went around the area while waiting. The bathroom is basically right where the host stand is so not ideal. When it was time for us to be seated, we got seated in their outdoor area. I got the California Burrito with carne asada and got fries for my side. I don't remember what my wife got since I was taking care of our daughter.Our food took some time to come out since they wanted to bring everyone food out at the same time. We got the mariachi band to sing to my wife and she enjoyed it. I thought my burrito was okay but not worth waiting two hours for. My fries were like any other Mexican restaurants, I think they use the same product because it taste exactly the same. My wife and her family like their dishes as well. Customer service we received here was good

The food here is definitely a must-try! I had the enchiladas combo, and the portion was HUGE! The kids got meals from the kids’ menu, and their portions were big too. My wife really enjoyed the mango margarita.I definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re in San Diego. Friendly staff, great food, and big portions! We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.

Got delivery through the app—everything was packed really well and still hot. The food at Casa Guadalajara is SO good! Everything tastes so fresh and well made, and honestly, it feels like you’re eating a delicious homemade meal at someone’s house. The flavors are amazing, and everything we tried was incredibly tasty. Definitely one of those places where you can tell the food is made with care. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Casa Guadalajara absolutely over-delivers on both quality and quantity. I ordered the Fiesta Express Street Taco kit and was blown away. Both the carne asada and chicken were perfectly seasoned and extremely tender (great flavor, just the right amount of spice). The Mexican rice and beans honestly tasted homemade, and they give you a ton of it so you definitely won't walk away hungry. Plus all the packaging was completely eco-friendly and compostable. Hands down some of the best takeout I've had in San Diego. I highly recommend the taco kit and plan to dine in person next time.

My only golden rule for newcomers: Do not fill up on the tortilla chips or appetizers! The main dishes are massive, and unless you arrive with a huge appetite, you probably won't be able to finish. Come hungry, pace yourself, and enjoy an amazing meal!"

I love eating at this place every time I visit San Diego! I love how they decorate the restaurant, giving it this authentic Mexican aesthetic. The waiters are clothed in Mexican attire, which only adds to the vibe. We waited thirty plus minutes this time because we wanted indoor seating and while they had that available, it required going down one step. We had an elderly person in a wheelchair and while she was more than capable of making that step, the management did not want her to for financial reasons, etc. I totally understand this, but it caused us to wait for more than thirty minutes when we could have waited for fifteen. Just pretty inconvenient, and their should have been a ramp for wheelchair accessibility. Something for manegment to think about. In terms of food, the grilled chicken with avocado tacos are my absolute favorite and go-to. It comes with two tacos, a fried tortilla with beans, and a salad with some delicious dressing. I ordered it every time! Overall this restaurant is one of my favorites in San Diego and I would certainly recommend!

Enchiladas.... Yummy!!!I ordered the mahi mahi tacos and they were very good too but I do have to say our whole party was in love with the enchiladas.The atmosphere was authentic and clean. Everyone was friendly and eager to give the best customer service.Prices were fair and portion sizes were enough for a to go box.We will be back to enjoy more of what they have to offer.
