I am happy to recommend SolarHut for your solar and backup battery needs. They were somewhat more expensive than the lowest bid I had, but I chose them over others because of my good interaction with them and their technical capability. My expectations were very high as I have an obsession for details because of my scientific background. I was positively delighted with their meticulous work at the end of the project. My special compliments to Ben Feusi and Spencer Wulfert for their outstanding work and patiently answering my every question. I also had several interactions with the owner, Luke Miller, for every detail, and graciously spending many hours of his time responding to my concerns about their proposal. A little extra cost of the project was well worth it.I also would like to pay my compliments to the Sales Lady, Meghan Stimmler, for gracefully and cheerfully responding to my hard negotiating attitude.

The administrative and technical crew at solar hood is excellent, they got my system installed quickly, including solar and a back up Tesla battery,and it’s been working great so far. Very knowledgeable crew over there at solar hut.

First; SolarHut was willing to work with us. Our house is in the shade for most of the day, so we needed to mount the panels remotely. SolarHut let us trench and install the conduit from the house to the remote site.Second; the SolarHut team know what they are doing. From designing, through permits,through installation. Everything went smoothly. When the county came to inspect, it was obvious that the inspectors trusted the SolarHut team.Third; the SolarHut team has always been available for my questions. There haven't been many, the system just works. But when I have had questions, the team has responded with the right answers.

In 2021 SolarHut installed two LG batteries along with a Solar Edge Backup Interface. This review is being provided now in 2025 because excellent long term support is very beneficial these days and makes this company stand out from the rest. To make a long story short, the initial installation was perfect and my system has worked great over the last 4 years. However a feature that SolarEdge promised years ago finally became available that allows me to connect a motor generator to the backup interface. The cabling was completed in 2021 but since SolarEdge did not have the feature functional yet, the physical connection and software updates were not made. I spoke with SolarEdge but they were no help. After pinging SolarHut, I was given excellent support by Spencer, Ben, and Rich. They researched the feature, speaking with SolarEdge (which can be very frustrating) and were able to determine the solution existed and were able to get SolarEdge to push a new firmware to my Backup Interface. The new firmware was required to enable the new feature. Ben arrived to make the physical connection and inspect the system but I had no way to test it, so Spencer offered to bring a generator and was able to hook it up and show that the house was now powered from this new source. This Solar Hut team is still together after installing my system several years ago, while the company that installed the solar panels and inverters has gone out of business. An experienced team that stays together over the years is golden and I would continue to do business with SolarHut.

Very professional team on schedule and within budget

Solarhut provided excellent service. I had inverter problems. My service technician was Spencer Wulfert. He was prompt and completed the diagnosis/repair in less than an hour.
