Did management change or something? The menu has more options. The charsiu is good again. Would try the fried rice again next time.Service is pretty okay. Quick to order, and someone came by when we looked around trying to get the check. Pretty loud next to the bar stool area where foods coming out with the head hostess yelling out commands to the waitstaff. A bit loud for conversation if you sit right there.5% cash discount. Bathroom in the back.--House ramen was good. Normally didn't drink the broth here since it used to be very rich and salty, but this was okay to drink to me. Thought the variety of toppings was alright but would prefer something else with maybe a full egg and more charsiu slices.Friend got the akamaru modern ramen. He liked it, I didn't like the flavor.Got the passion fruit bubble tea. Is sweet syrup as expected but was pleasantly surprised at the chewiness of the bubbles. Fresher than I was expecting.--Original review:Used to be a local favorite, the charsiu was so flavorful. Think it's just okay now. Didn't taste as amazing it once did.Service was pretty slow on a weekday afternoon. The main hostess wasn't working, maybe they've moved on to new staff now.Got the half and half, mini ramen and fried rice. The menu said it came with 2 charsiu, but it only comes with one now. Guess the menus out of date.I used to really love the Japanese fried rice, it was probably the charsiu bits. It's not that great anymore. It's not bad, but i'd just skip it and stick with the ramen now.The curry cutlet was okay. It comes with red sliced ginger that I thought would be pickled, but it's just salty ginger. The cutlet was okay. Drier and more plain than I remember. The fried chickens still pretty good.Maybe I just remember the place more fondly once upon a time.
