Ruth is amazing! Our son screamed the entire time, but it didn’t distract her one bit. She is patient, loving, and did an amazing job. This is the best hair cut he’s ever had. It’s been a few weeks and someone just asked where he got his hair cut because it still looks so good. Thank you Ms. Ruth!

Hagar was absolutely AMAZING. MY 4 year old is diagnosed with autism and he has the hardest time with haircuts, but Hagar was so understanding and she was able to still do a fabulous job on his haircut even though the beginning he wouldn’t stay still for even a minute. By the end of the haircut she had him calmed down and my husband and I couldn’t believe how well he did. She is going to be our go-to girl now for sure!

We took my daughter to Sharkey’s in Mint Hill this past Saturday as an early birthday treat, and Ms. Ruth made it such a special experience for her!She was treated like a little princess from start to finish. Her hair wash, haircut, and style were all perfect, and she absolutely loved her “mini manicure” too! 💅🏽Ms. Ruth is so sweet, knowledgeable, and really good at what she does. You can tell she truly cares about making the kids feel comfortable and special.My daughter left so happy and feeling beautiful. Mrs Ruth was so welcoming and felt like home right away. My son was so comfortable with her and he usually doesnt sit still for anyone that cuts his hair. My son loved his haircut! We will definitely come back and so happy there is now a local sharkeys in the mint hill area!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The BEST first haircut experience!We took our 2-year-old daughter to Ms. Ruth at Sharkey’s Mint Hill for her very first haircut, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was upbeat, sweet, playful, knowledgeable, and incredibly reassuring. Our daughter has fine, naturally curly wheat hair. I was a bit nervous about preserving her curls and length. Ruth knew exactly how to care for her hair and us and made us feel completely comfortable.The whole experience went so far beyond a haircut. She got a head massage and hair wash, pick a car to sit in, watch cartoons, and Ruth kept her engaged and complimenting her throughout. Afterward she braided her hair, added glitter and butterfly clips, painted her nails (including two coats + drying machine!), and let her pick out a balloon. They also gave her a bookmark and tattoos. Ms. Hagar was also wonderful and so helpful with check-in/check-out, taking and printing her first-haircut photo. She also made her a certificate and sent her home with all of it and a little bag of her hair clippings. 🥹Our daughter left smelling like a “Chiquita Banana birthday cake,” covered in glitter, with painted nails and a balloon, feeling like a total superstar. 😂💗 Ruth made her first haircut feel like a celebration, and we couldn’t be happier. Our experience at Sharkey’s-Mint Hill was amazing! Ruth was so warm and welcoming. My daughter was nervous and Ruth was so kind towards her. I love all the add ons, my daughter loved having glitter in her hair and sparkles. The price was very appropriate for everything you receive. We got a haircut, a braid, glitter, butterfly clips, painted nails, a balloon, lollipop, bookmark, and a tattoo. Will 100% come here again!

Ruth was awesome with my youngest daughter during her haircut yesterday. She was so friendly, made her feel comfortable, and really took the time to talk with her and keep her engaged throughout the appointment.
