I was horrified and helpless, but at this point, there was nothing I could do but pray she got it right. As you can probably guess, she didn't. My now previously fine tooth is in agony and has given me months of pain, and I require a root canal, I believe she drilled into my nerve when reckless drilling with no lighting. I work at sea and don't have access to health care at all times, she knew this prior to drilling, but upon finishing she said she didn't know what would happen and the filling would likely be rejected... She was the definition of winging it that day, and she knew. I wanted the report so I asked the receptionist prior to leaving and she had not filled out the form stating the frankinstein job that she did; no that part was left out the weird combination of multiple products and mesh?! That she put on my tooth, she failed to mention. It is a shame as it used to be the best dentist. Now I am in pain and I paid for the pleasure. Less

Apparently, this was because a new dentist had started so I had to have a review with him before I could have a hygiene appointment. The review itself was nothing more than a few pictures of my teeth and an explanation about how to floss. I therefore felt I got nothing worthwhile out of the appointment. As someone who is working class and cannot really afford these extra costs, I was disheartened and felt like a mug as I walked out of the practice. She could obviously sense my discomfort and made arrangements for me to be seen same day, just a couple of hours later. The emergency fees were clearly explained to me and seemed very fair. I arrived for my appointment not knowing what to expect. I am an incredibly nervous dentist patient like many others. From the moment I stepped in the door, I felt like I was going for a nice spa treatment rather than the dentist. Azure has a bright, modern and fresh vibe with lovely friendly staff. I first met Dan around 12 months ago, extremely self conscious about my smile and after meeting with several other dentists in the past feeling like i was out of options. I've had issued with my teeth since being a teenager, from multiple fillings to having my canines surgically removed from my gums when i was about 14 due to them not dropping into their normal positions. This left me with gaps where my canines should have been. After my initial smile clinic with Dan, we put a plan in place that would see me having my top teeth replaced with Veneers. Its been a long process due to covid and ive mithered the life out of Dan for months, eager to get myself back in the chair to gets things sorted. The consultation was with Dan and lasted just over an hour. During that time I had a thorough checkup including xrays and photos which enabled Dan to explain various options available to me. Within 2 weeks I had a temporary plate which enabled me to be seen in public again. This proved invaluable as we were the hit by lockdown. Azure kept in touch throughout and contacted me as soon as they reopened to book me in. Two weeks later the bridge work was complete and Dan had done an amazing job. The complex work was done totally pain free and on completion of my treatment I feel that I not only have a new dentist Dan has become a friend. It sounds bizarre but it was a pleasure to go to see the dentist. Less

I had my free consultation today with Ella and her team and I can honestly say that I have never had such a welcoming team at a dentist before. From entering the clinic the reception team were lovely and even helped to complete the registration for me as I have a medical condition that affects both arms so she completed it on the i-pad instead.
