Omg I can’t recommend this place enough! We made an appointment for my 5 year to get his hair cut after a failed attempt the day before. When we arrived, he was so nervous that he wouldn’t even go into the building. I was gonna cancel the appointment after 10 mins of trying but the receptionist was so nice and asked if we wanted to see if him talking to the stylist would help. Robin came right out and was so calm and patient with him. She asked him if he just wanted to just go and look. She then took him in and let him look around and let him take all the time he needed until he decided that he would sit in the chair. Which was at least 30 minutes of trying. Once he was sitting, he let her brush his hair. After he found out that wasn’t scary, he was all smiles while he was getting his hair cut. I can’t say enough how much I would recommend this place and Robin! We will definitely be back next time he needs a cut!

Edited 5/12/2026:I think I LOVE this place even MORE! The boys still get their haircut here and look FABULOUS every time! We love all the stylists, but have taken a big liking to Savannah. She’s AWESOME! And the owners are AMAZING! I recently helped with a fundraiser for my son’s Special Olympics team and they were extremely generous in their donation! So not only are they a great business, they clearly love their community! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! 💯💖Four years ago:Wonderful! They are SO fast, give good cuts to my boys and treat all of us so kindly! As a mom of kids on the Autism Spectrum this place is a godsend!

She is so patient, kind, and great with kids—she knows exactly how to keep them comfortable and happy the entire time. Her haircuts are always perfect, and she really takes the time to make sure everything looks just right. Our kids actually look forward to getting their hair cut because of her, which says everything! Robin at Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids is amazing! She was patient, friendly, and made my granddaughter feel like a princess. We did the first haircut package. The haircut and nails turned out perfect, and the whole experience was fun! She got stickers, a balloon, and a lollipop after she was finished. Highly recommend Robin—we’ll definitely be back!

Savannah always cuts my son’s hair and does AMAZING. He is almost 2 years old and despises haircuts haha. Savannah is patient and kind with him. She is always very encouraging and gives him little breaks when he’s very upset. I cannot recommend her enough. I definitely recommend Sharkey’s Southlake, but especially Savannah!!

The experience was more than I expected! Lilian was our hairdresser and she did amazing! She made my 4 year old feel comfortable and cared for. The receptionist (I wish I got her name) helped with the manicure and braided my daughter's hair, added sparkle to her hair and butterfly clips. She did amazing! We received a manicure, a complimentary ring, a wash, cut, blow dry, hairstyle with added accessories, 2 balloons, and a lollipop. All of that was included with a $36 kids cut. WOW! My daughter left feeling beautiful, confident, and happy. I definitely recommend this place! 🤩

We love seeing Robin! Our 3 year old daughter gets a bob/long bob cut from her and she has done a great job working around toddler antics while cutting. This last one we did was Eloise’s best time with attention span. Robin was even able to do the girl’s manicure this time which we were surprised to learn comes with the girl’s cut.

Robin has been wonderful with my 3yr old. He hated haircuts and now loves going to see her
