When my daughter told me she wanted to do dance once she started school I was sceptical. I've seen dance mums, I've heard of the exorbitant costs of costumes and the competitions etc and my first thought was there is no way am I getting involved in that. Then my mum mentioned that a lady she used to dance with had a studio in Ipswich. So after a quick google search I knew this was the dance studio for us. With age appropriate dance, affordable prices and only an end of year concert PLUS the costumes are incorporated into the monthly cost I couldn't say no. We signed up and haven't looked back. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere my daughter is excited to go every week. If you are looking for an affordable, inclusive and fun dance studio without the extra costs then NY Dance is for you.

When my girls showed an interest in dancing, I was recommended NY dance by one of their beautiful teachers! I have never regretted the decision to send my girls there. It's definitely not your typical dance school which is what I love most. NY dance is non-competitive, but still gives dancers the opportunity to progress through exams if your child chooses and participation in the annual musical. The end of year concert is the highlight of the year. The costumes are age appropriate and best of all, they are included in the fees. There's no spending thousands on costumes or the pressure eisteddfod's. They cater for all abilities and all genders! It's a safe space that I'm proud to send my girls to. Highly recommended!

A friend told me about NY Dance and how they only perform at an end of year event. I knew this dance company would be perfect for me and I was right! The dance teachers are so friendly and always willing to help me if I am struggling with moves. When I arrive for my adult classes, I see so many children leaving their classes with a smile on their face. NY Dance staff are always friendly and very welcoming. It is a wonderful place to take your child/children for dance lessons. My daughter loves it.

I have been bringing my niece to NY Dance for 3 years now and we absolutely love it. It has been great to see Georgia develop with the school starting in Mummy & Me classes, Pre-Tinies (with her first concert last year), Tinies tap & jazz this year and she will be so excited to start ballet classes next term. Love the rapport that Nat and her staff have built with both students and parents. We are proud to be part of NY Dance.
