I sought help from professionals, including physical therapy, and did everything they told me to do. Since seeing them, I had tried several times to just hold a racket and tap the ball to see if the "soreness" had gone away. To my dismay, all I experienced was excruciating pain. I eventually stopped getting my hopes up and felt my passion for tennis rapidly dwindle. There was a point where I thought I had done permanent damage to my wrist/arm and felt like my heart was crumbling because I could never play tennis again. Though this might sound dramatic, keep in mind that tennis has been a significant source of joy for me over the years and is central to a part of my identity. This is when Michelle came into the picture. I had never done chiropractic adjustments before but wanted to give it a try. Michelle made the environment super comfortable and gained my trust immediately. She did a thorough assessment of what my needs and concerns were and shared her perspective on what their causes could be. Before doing any adjustment, she vocalized her intentions so I was never surprised by what she was doing. To my surprise, after only one session with her, the pain in my wrist/arm disappeared the same day. This relief lasted for a few days before coming back but for the first time in months, it gave me hope that my arm/wrist could heal. I came back to see her again for the second time a week later and expressed my bewilderment that the pain had temporarily vanished after our first session. We had our second session and she told me to rotate my wrist in various positions to test the work she's done. There was no pain in any of the positions and she said I was good to go for tennis. I was skeptical and held a healthy dose of cautious optimism because I was afraid of getting my hopes up. Nonetheless, I decided to trust her and go to the courts. I was able to hit the ball with full strength for the first time in MONTHS with NO PAIN at all. Forehand, backhand, slices, you name it. I was so happy that I started getting emotional. Michelle restored the hope in me that I had once lost. My shoulders were shot, my right hip and lower back was all messed up and now… I have zero discomfort, zero pain on my shoulders. She aligned my pelvis and used a posture scanning machine on me. In addition to that, she also introduced me to custom insoles based on how my foot is structured.
