We love Lupita we did our first appointment with Sharkey in Bristow yesterday. She is so sweet and listened to what we wanted for our son’s haircut. Highly recommend her. We will be back in 3 weeks for routine haircut!

Nilda is wonderful! This is my daughter’s second haircut in a row with her, and each time, she makes my daughter feel so comfortable and gets her to try new things. The first time was sitting for her first hair cut, and this time was lying back to get her hair wash. Nilda also delivers on the requested cut each time. She is so gentle, so kind-hearted, and so patient. Sharkeys is lucky to have her!

We went in for our daughter's 1st haircut on her 1st birthday and Lupita was great! She was super patient with my daughter wanting to check everything out and explore. She did a great job on her haircut, did everything we asked for and more! They even took a photo of all of us to celebrate her birthday which I thought was a sweet touch. They have cool cars for kids to sit in and bluey plays on screens right in front. Overall a great place to take your kiddos.

We take my son, who has ASD and sensory issues, to see Lupita for his haircuts. We’ve been about 4 times now, and I truly can’t say enough good things about her.From the very first visit, Lupita has been incredibly patient with him. She has never once made us feel like she was annoyed or frustrated, even when his haircuts were extremely difficult. She gives him breaks between cuts when he needs them and has always gone above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. She even rewarded him once with one of her own personal Pixar pins, which meant so much to us. He still has it to this day!Haircuts used to be something I absolutely dreaded. Because of his sensory issues, my son would scream, fight, and become extremely distressed. I would have to sit him on my lap and hold him as tightly as I could just so he could stay still. At one point, we even shaved his hair completely bald just so we wouldn’t have to put him through another haircut for a while.But every single time we’ve gone to Lupita, it has gotten a little easier.Yesterday was a HUGE moment for us. To my surprise, my son actually wanted to sit in the fire truck all by himself!!! He didn’t cry, he sat still, and only reached for my hand a couple of times. Even Lupita was surprised!! We both could not believe it!!For some families, it may seem like just a haircut, but for us, this was a really big accomplishment!We will absolutely continue bringing our son to Lupita. We are SO thankful for her kindness, patience, and the way she has worked with him at his own pace. She has truly made something that used to be incredibly stressful so much easier for our family!
