Went to Altius Healthcare after struggling with a back / hip / glute injury for over a year. I’d been to see other physios, had an MRI, the whole shebang but wasn’t getting anywhere.But after the first session with Doug, I had a clear diagnosis and initial treatment. By the second treatment I was pretty much ‘fixed’ and back running. Only wish I’d gone sooner. It would have saved me a lot of time, frustration and worry!And had I not made that appointment, I would never have made it to the start line of the marathon, let alone finished it.For that reason, I’d highly recommend them to any friends or family.

I have been seeing Doug Jones at Altius in Manchester following surgery on my ankle for a complex, long‑term injury. Both Doug and the team at Altius have been excellent and far more proactive in addressing the underlying issues than other physiotherapists I have seen previously prior to the surgery. The treatment has been very hands‑on and tailored to my injury, rather than just being given generic exercises with little direct intervention. I would highly recommend Altius.
