I recently noticed some web-spinning insects getting into my bathroom, probably trying to escape the summer heat, so I decided to investigate where they might be coming in. I opened an access hatch on the back of my house below the bathroom, and I’m very glad I did.I discovered that a section of old metal electrical conduit had badly deteriorated, apparently from years of exposure to water from an old bathtub leak that existed before my shower remodel. The conduit had rotted away enough to leave electrical wires exposed, which obviously concerned me.I searched Google for a local electrician because I like supporting local businesses whenever I can, and I found TM Electrical in Bellflower, California. Anthony, the owner, came out the very next day, inspected the problem, explained what needed to be done, and quoted me what I felt was a very fair price. We scheduled the repair for the following day.Anthony returned as promised, replaced the damaged metal conduit, and also installed a proper junction box inside the access area to safely contain some other exposed wiring he found. I really appreciated that he took care of everything and made the area much safer.Anthony was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with.
