Terrible experience with Crossroads Moving. Booked 3 movers a month in advance—only 2 showed up, took 6 hours to move a 2-bedroom house 1 mile, and damaged our walls. No response for 10 days. They refused cards, demanding cash or Venmo, which wasn’t disclosed. Slow, unprofessional, and not worth it.

I expressed my opinion that it was sad that they do not take credit cards, only cash, it seems unfair and fishy to me ! Matthew, the owner, declined an already set up move. I even apologized for expressing my disappointment of this policy and he still refused. Hey Matthew, 2 men and a truck do take credit cards to help with costs if you don’t have the full amount up front in order to work with their customers . I find you rude, unfair, and I will spread the word about you to all my friends and family and social media I’m on.

Matt stayed in contact until the day of the move. Matt and team were arrived at the time agreed upon. Loaded HEAVY furniture and unloaded all in 3 hours.I highly recommend Crossroads Moving company.

Crossroads Moving was an excellent choice for our large scale move and I definitely recommend them without hesitation! The owner was so kind, proficient and personable as he streamlined all the details from beginning to end. His communication and attention made a stressful situation like moving much more pleasant! His crew did an outstanding job packing, wrapping and moving some heavy pieces of furniture for us and there was so much attention to detail that I had no worries. His crew arrived early each day, asked me questions to stay on top of things and were consistent and thorough. They were hard workers! We went from one two-story house to another two story, and I was amazed by the ease with which they were able to come upstairs and downstairs with heavy furniture and not one piece was damaged. They were so accommodating when I even changed my mind about a piece of furniture that needed to be moved back downstairs. Additionally, a week after we got settled, I contacted them about moving an antique piece into our attic because I saw them move it once and only trusted them again to wrap it and go from the bottom floor to the upstairs attic. In short, yes I highly recommend them and will use again if the need arises! They were great!!** I attached a picture to show the care and detail that they used when they moved a family heirloom upstairs for us. It was very heavy and large and being old we were concerned about damage, but Matt and his team took care of it perfectly!

Here is the text I sent to the owner with no response. “ Hello, I just wanted to send you pictures of all the damage from yesterday. I know one of the guys had sent you some but along the whole staircase and hallways there are all types of scrapes and marks on the wall and baseboards. We just painted the baseboards and the wall had just been painted before we moved in. We were very disappointed with the service yesterday. While they got it all done, they were not careful with our belongings at all. We labeled every box based on which room it went to or whether or not it was breakable. Multiple boxes from the kitchen were put upstairs in the office. The breakable boxes were stacked 6 high on the dolly just like any other box. Which caused a few plates and other dish ware to break. The young mover got tired multiple times and just started dragging stuff across our new floors that we had told them were new. Our clothes that were on hangers wrapped in trash bag weren't put in the closet and were just thrown on the floor. They each were complaining about each other the entire day and just made it feel like this job was too much of a burden. They also broke the legs off of my wife's dresser ( which they did end up fixing) but after breaking it they tried blaming us saying the dressers were to heavy even though my wife had just told them to take the drawers out but they said they don't do that. We have never complained about a company before and the whole day we were trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because it was a hot day but the entire experience was unprofessional. We had found cheaper movers but I specially went with this company because of your reviews and because my brother has used you all and said you were the best. We were just expecting a lot more and we're left disappointed.” Our contract said we were to point out damages while the movers were still there and we did that. They have still not answered a week after our move about how to resolve the issue with our damage. I want to add that after they left we also found scrapes on our kitchen island as well from them passing by it on the dolly and not paying attention. I hate to publicly bash a local business online but I have tried to reach the owner twice now with no response.

I am 70 and this is our 7th or 8th move in the past 50yrs, this was without a doubt the smoothest best organized move yet. The crew was on time and prepared to work. It was a 4 man crew for a 4 bedroom house. They all were very friendly and efficient in their work. This was a short distance move that took 8hrs to complete. They were very careful with everything and placed everything wherever we wanted in the new house. There was no damage to any of our property or to the walls in either our old or new home. I recommend Crossroads Moving without reservation

Showed up early very polite went over everything. I was on the second floor two bedroom apartment had this massive bed. They broke it down. They got it down the stairs FYI The stairway are not normal have a overhang with the rail very difficult to get stuff in and out .Got it in the truck and over to new house without any damage and put it back together , had several things they boxed up for me nice and neat had all the supplies they needed. Took time and wrapped everything up to protect it very carefully.These two guys Mike & Steven work through lunch. We started at 8:45 and didn’t get done till four and they didn’t stop. They were hard at it all day. I highly recommend them and very affordable.
