Mark was an excellent instructor for a 2 hour Stop The Bleed course provided in July. Students ranged from complete beginner (this guy) to EMTs taking the course to be able to provide the training themselves, and the course provided value to us all. Mark was friendly and affable, his professional experience in the field was evident in his treatment of the material and though he told us he was new to teaching the course, he was clearly an experienced instructor with a rare talent for the Socratic method.

Mark with Firearms Training Colorado is knowledgeable and easy to speak with. He uses real life examples to ensure this important topic is conveyed and understood by all attendees. My training needs for this session was for Concealed Carry recertification, but after spending time with him I can easily recommend him for his handgun training too. I went in for a refresher course to get my Concealed carry renewed. Mark did a great job keeping the class going and making sure all questions were answered. I chose to do my CCW refresher course with Mark because it was the soonest available, and I wasn't sure what to expect but it turned out to be the best! This course offers a more personal experience than the big chains can likely offer, and I got lucky to have only one other person in the class which allowed more room for discussion, which lead to me learning a lot of new things and gaining a more nuanced understanding of self defense, despite already having a decent base knowledge about it.Mark is highly knowledgeable, a great teacher, and clearly a good person. I didn't think I would learn anything new, but I absolutely did and I highly recommend this course above those offered by a chain. I took the Aurora class and we did the live fire portion just a few minutes down the road at Shoot Indoors.
