Currently in the middle of a training block with Gareth for our rescue dog. He is so understanding of our reactive and fearful rescue boy Sammy, and is helping us to break down his training into bite sized chunks to help rehabilitate him into the big wide world! He is always giving us new tips and tricks we haven't thought if before, even as seasoned rescue dog owners! Our boy Sammy has accepted him and even demands cuddles now :)The online group and zoom sessions are really helpful & great to connect with other dog owners in the same boat as us. Highly recommend his services!We can't wait until Sammy can come to your scent work classes.....one day! 😜

We asked Gareth to support us with training our litter mate Golden Retriever girls. Double trouble! Gareth was patient, knowledgeable, didn’t make us feel ridiculous at any point for getting litter mates but most of all was so accepting of the fact we have busy lives & don’t always have the time to be training our dogs day & night. He is accepting of day to day life challenges & non judgmental. The pups were so comfortable around Gareth, knew he was the treat man & that they’d be shattered after a training session. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Gareth. He certainly has a love for dogs.

Bruno really enjoyed going to puppy class. Every week he was so excited to be there and to meet up with the other pups - there were lots of waggy tails before the serious work of training began. Gareth has a lovely patient manner and always explained the rationale behind each activity. His training encouraged us to constantly reward our puppies with praise and/or treats whenever they got something right. Practising the activities at home is also starting to pay off as Bruno is responding well to training, especially loose lead walking and ‘checking in’. We’d definitely recommend Gareth’s classes for puppy socialisation and early training.

We have just completed the Silver UK Sniffer Dog Award with Gareth. We had a great time and Gareth created a welcoming and engaging course as well as sharing his wealth of knowledge. Looking forward to continuing our scent work journey with forever home dog training.

Puppy class Both Gus and I thoroughly enjoyed our Monday nights . He dragged me in every week desperate to see his new friends. I enjoyed seeing him confident in situations without big sister Lily to turn to . He definitely made it HIS thing 🙂. The socialisation aspect is really important, especially with him being a terrier ! He has actually helped Lily be less reactive to certain dogs. He is Mr Meet and Greet which usually ( not always) means that she can relax . This is very helpful when walking 2 dogs. It has been valuable for the puppies to have experiences, not just pure “obedience” lessons. A great foundation for building other behaviours . Thank you Gareth! Annette and Gus
