I keep forgetting to make this review, but I'll tell you I never forget about the day I took the self-defense class. I got a key slinger that I hold in my hands whenever I'm out. I've learned a lot and I've benefited so much from this. I recommend everybody take this and bring your teenagers with you.!

I completed the "Mama Bear Prepared: The Basics" course and appreciated the suggestions for my everyday life to keep myself and my kids safe. The online course was easy to use, I was able to complete it in 5-10 minute increments (while on vacation) without getting "lost" in the information. The information also stuck with me more than I would have guessed...in the last two months I was in 2 separate situations where I used what I learned, identified the potential threat/risky situation, and reacted quickly and more safely than I would have before the training. Thank you Carrie.

Carrie is SO amazing!!! I did the beta testing for Raising Nonviolent Children and it was absolutely eye opening! I wanted to take the course because I was concerned about the angry outbursts in our house and how explosive it can be. I was looking for new ways to handle, diffuse, & manage. The information in the course has helped immensely! There were so many countless nuggets that I can use to help. Before the course, everything was weighing so heavy on me & so stressful! Now, I feel like I can take a deep breath. My expectations were far exceeded and I’d highly recommend checking it out! I have already been using some things and have ideas to further improve our tactics. I am so thankful I got a chance to go through this.

Carrie is inspiring and has a fun approach towards protecting yourself and your child. Highly recommend her class. I took the intro to defense course and feel confident in my intuition and precautions. I am eager to take additional courses for skill training with her.

I've taken the Basic Self Defense and Key Slinger courses, twice. Both are courses are amazing. I left encouraged and empowered! Carrie does an amazing job teaching us the true meaning of self defense. I like to repeat the course to further my education and ability to react. Thank you, Carrie, you're doing a great work!

So my freshman daughter who is very tiny for her age and I took the key slinger. She asked if she could walk 2 miles to the high school with some friends. Knowing the training she has received I let her go as long as she carried her keys in her hand. Which she did. Made myself feel safer and her. Great training.

I took one of the keyslinger classes last year. Carrie is a knowledgeable and and patient tutor, and the class teaches one of the simplest and most effective self defence techniques you can learn. Perfect for of any size, height or strength level. You will feel capable and in control of your own safety after even a single lesson. I highly recommend this class for anyone interested in self defense.

Awesome experience! Very educational and well taught. Carrie is very knowledgeable and patient, she made sure that I was confident with the information and strategies as well as comfortable using the tools taught. I finished prepared and confident to defend myself.

I would love to learn kempo, I'm somewhat disabled, but can still swing a stick, an throw a combination. But I'm older now, need to learn something new to use for my situation.
