Ian recently installed an EV charger for us. He came recommended by the dealership we bought our car from. Hes a very professional lovely guy, genuine and hardworking and knows his stuff. He had two lads with him too, who were also very professional. Ian was on the ball with everything.He arrived bang on 8am and got straight to work. We needed some wiring upgrades, which meant accessing the attic and running cable to our hotpress which was all discussed before hand when he called out to take a look at the job the week previous. It was organised very well and executed efficiently.The charger was installed very nicely outside, its neat and compact.The charger itself is brilliant. It cut our charging time from 10 hours to just 1 and now I know everything’s safe and properly installed.Highly recommend Ian and his team.

In early May 2025, I submitted an enquiry to the Renew electrical website requesting a quote for the installation of replacement lighting fittings at my home; 7 replacement fittings inside, one new light fitting inside and 4 new decorative garden light fittings.Ian Walsh responded quickly to my enquiry to the website and after discussing my enquiry requirements, he scheduled an appointment to visit my home, discuss details and provide his quote.He called in advance to confirm our agreed appointment and arrived on time.During this process, he was very attentive, listened carefully to my requirements, was very supportive and contributed ideas regarding how the job could be performed.He carefully recorded the various details and provided a quote within 24 hours of meeting.He also assured me that regarding his quote, that there would be “no surprises” which is exactly what I needed to know.We agreed a plan about what needed to be done and when.There were several steps to the job, including garden wall work and re-plastering etc. Ian provided and managed the sub contractors in delivering the job.Ian managed the job, kept me informed on progress and delivered the desired results exactly how he promised, on time and on budget.He was a pleasure to work with and good humoured throughout.Honestly, he was a breath of fresh air compared to the dealings that I had with many other electricians who I had selected to quote for the job.I have no hesitation in recommending Renew Electrical.

We were recommended Ian from Renew Electrical and are so glad we got in touch. Before Ian called out, we had another electrician quote for the job whose suggestion would have meant wrecking a wall inside our home, followed by replastering and repainting, all of which turned out to be completely unnecessary. Ian took one quick look and came up with a far more sensible way to run the cable that avoided any of that mess. He saved us a huge amount of hassle. On top of that, he is a genuinely bloke with excellent communication, always keeping us updated on how the job was progressing. The work was carried out to a really high standard and we are very happy with the result. Would highly recommend.

My fuse box was sparking i immediately turned off all the power i spent most of the morning ringing around for an electrician with no one willing to come out as an emergency i contacted renew electrical he gave me prices up front witch was reassuring, and within 2 hours he was at the house i would highly recommend him, he was quick, efficient and very fair with pricing i will definitely be using him in the future a great service.
