⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I waited until we’d completed two full terms and experienced our first concert before writing this review, and I’m so glad I did. I can honestly say we’ve had an outstanding experience with Prodigy Performing Arts.Communication: This has been one of the biggest positives for us. Messages are answered promptly, and everything is easy to manage. I also love how simple it is to make changes when needed—if I have to cancel or adjust a schedule, it’s handled smoothly and without stress. At our previous dance company, we sometimes waited weeks or even months for responses, so this level of reliability makes a huge difference.Uniforms: The uniforms are absolutely beautiful. My daughter’s uniform is washed every week, yet all of the embellishments and bling remain perfectly intact. The quality is excellent, and it looked absolutely stunning on stage during the concert.Concert experience: This was the standout for us. We have attended many dance concerts over the years, but this was the first time I actually felt relaxed and able to enjoy it. The whole experience was incredibly well organised. We were able to drop our daughter off at 10:30am with the teachers and return closer to 12pm for the concert itself. This gave parents time to go out, have breakfast, and enjoy the morning without stress.In contrast, at previous dance schools, children stayed with parents right up until each performance, which often became confusing and stressful for them, as they had to constantly move back and forth between parents and stage. Here, everything was streamlined and child-focused, which made a huge difference.The children confidently made their way on and off the stage, and I didn’t see a single teacher needing to help or guide them with the steps. This really reflected the level of confidence, independence, and preparation the staff have instilled. The entire production ran seamlessly and was an absolute joy to watch.Confidence-building approach: One thing that really stood out to me was how they encourage children to perform in front of other classes during lessons. This simple but powerful approach helps build confidence and stage presence in a very natural way. I was genuinely amazed that they do this, and it clearly makes a positive difference in how comfortable and self-assured the children are on stage.Child safety: It was also very reassuring to see how strongly they prioritise child safety. At previous dance schools I attended, there were no clear reminders about photography rules, and parents and audience members often filmed other children without restriction. Here, clear expectations are set, and everyone is focused on watching and enjoying the performance respectfully, which creates a much safer and more appropriate environment.If you’re a parent looking for a dance school for your child, I can’t recommend Prodigy Performing Arts highly enough.Thank you to the wonderful team for creating such a positive, supportive, and professional environment.
