I thought about getting up and leaving several times. She kept barking orders at me like I was a kid, insulted my nail length twice saying they were so short and hard to paint, (which didn't make me feel good at all) and kept pushing my fingers and hands away if I didn't have them placed how she wanted them rather than politely asking me to correct them. I kept my replies short with her because I was already getting very frustrated and just couldn't wait to leave. The nails came out OK but not great and definitely rushed. All I wanted was to have a nice experience to feel good about myself after everything I'm going through and she ruined that for me. Do not recommend coming here. Less

I have been a loyal customer at Milano Nails since they opened, coming in every three weeks most recently for services. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was extremely disappointing.Both my daughter and I came in for full sets and pedicures. My daughter’s nails were shaped beautifully, and I specifically showed her nails to my technician, K, to explain the exact shape I wanted for mine. Throughout the appointment, I asked K multiple times to reshape my nails, but she was unable to achieve the shape I requested. I even pointed out the exact style on my daughter’s nails, hoping it would help. Despite my clear communication and multiple attempts to correct the shape during the service, my nails were still not done properly by the end of the appointment.After spending $250, I spoke to the manager to express my concerns. Instead of acknowledging the issue, I was told it was my responsibility to inform the technician if the nails weren’t shaped correctly, even though I had already done so several times. When the manager called her, she falsely claimed that I had shaped my own nails, which was not true. I had only asked for a nail file to fix a single nail BECAUSE she kept mis-shaping it.Rather than offering to reshape or repolish my nails, the only resolution they provided was to “make a note” not to assign me to that technician again. For a customer who has consistently supported this business and spent significant money over time, this was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing.Please keep this in mind if you are considering getting your nails done here, especially if you expect quality work and good customer service when things do not go as planned. I ended up having to request A nail file to shape my nails myself when I got home. This was easily fixable by taking off the nail polish, filing the sides, and reapplying; however, they chose not to assist. Less

I visited this salon to get a fill in and pedicure on my birthday. I had a birthday weekend planned and was excited to treat myself. At first the nail design looked fine but throughout the weekend my nails began to crumble. I always get short nails to accommodate the large amount of typing I do for my job. Typically with a quality set of acrylics at the length I get, I don't see any immediate damage to the nail. However, I saw multiple nails chip and fall off within the span of 5 days, including paint chipping off despite getting gel polish. This damage also occured while being on a stay-cation during that time and doing nothing with my hands daily beyond eating at resturants. After my birthday weekend celebrations, I visited the salon to request a refund. The extent of damage to the nails led me to believe that the integrity of the set was poor and a "fix" of the broken nails would not address the issue of the poor workmanship on my nails dampening what was otherwise a lovely weekend. I was told the only way to petition for a refund would be through email. I promptly emailed the address provided but recieved no response even after attempting to follow up. I'm honestly only writing this review because it seems they pay more attention to negative reviews than to the email that management gives as a resolution contact. I would hope that the responsiveness can be improved and the quality of their work can be better guaranteed. As a general rule of policy, I can understand suggesting a fix for a broken nail but when the workmanship of an entire set is so clearly poor that it cannot last a weekend, I believe it is poor business to not offer a refund or some form of compensation and to add insult to injury by ignoring attempts to seek resolution. They messed my nails and i had to leave the store with two different colors on my hands and toes.. i mentioned to them 100 times i don’t want them to use the machine for my hands before we start (i had issues with my nails before because of the machine, and the lady Kim who she always does for me was busy). They started doing my toes and they changed the color after that they said we don’t have someone to do your hand without the machine. They guy was back and forth and i told i even mentioned that in the phone before i even come and after i came i asked too.. both people who talked to me on the phone and the other one denied that i told them i donn’t want to use the machine on my nails. After that they sent one of the workers and he said they are going to take care of my toes and basically I don’t have to pay. At least that is what I understood. Once i got into my car the manager came after me his name is (Phan or Pham) asking me to pay for the service. I explained to him what was happening and how a waste of time it was and i left the salon with two different colors and if they mentioned that they can’t do it from the beginning i wouldn’t even change my toes color. He did not care at all. All he wanted is his $15. He didn’t even apologized for the inconvenience. He doesn’t even know how to talk to clients he was showing attitude. He is the one who was upset and he told me that I WASTED his time. I was a loyal customer of them for a year. They didn’t even care to lose their customer. Having been a loyal customer for over a year, I have typically appreciated the quality of service, despite the premium pricing. Unfortunately, I had to return on November 7th due to a chipped nail, and yet again on November 12th for a broken nail, alongside another chipped nail—exactly seven days from my initial appointment. Your website states that customers have a seven-day window to return for free repairs should any issues arise during that timeframe.When I approached your team on the 12th, I requested some form of compensation for the time and gas spent making three trips to the salon within a week. I was informed that while they could fix my nail at no cost, no discount could be offered for the inconvenience. It was disappointing to hear that my situation was dismissed, especially since I was already entitled to a complimentary repair due to your policy.I am disheartened by the lack of acknowledgment for the inconvenience caused and the minimal effort made to rectify the situation. My previous set was done at Milano Nails at the same location and I called and nail removal has always been complimentary, and I have been told that on the phone multiple times as well. On top of that, acetone wasn’t being used, the technician (Jessica) was pulling them off with another nail, which is something I could do on my own. Additionally, they try and up charge on nail length, I got a much shorter length and paid the same price as my previous set which was much longer. My technician wasn’t listening to my issues regarding length and kept saying it will be fixed, but the length came out even much shorter than expected. I truly believe the reception could have been better about dealing with this situation, especially because Im a regular. Instead, they pulled out a nail ruler and said length was 10 dollars when the ruler was also actually at 5 dollars. This isn’t something that I expected and I truly wish management changes this soon. I am a woman, I can honestly try and understand that the nail technician might be having a bad day or be on her period. But not a manager, nail technician lead or anyone stepped in to stop this nail technician from yelling and being abusive to me. That nail technician acted like a lunatic, I almost felt like she wanted to assault me. The only people that stepped in were the Customers that were done and leaving the store, can you imagine that? Anyways I won’t recommend this place to even somebody I don’t like, talk of somebody l care about. I don’t curse or even have negative English words in my diction because I am francophone. I’ve tried using this nail salon so many times because the location is convenient but my goodness the customer service here is terrible. I’ve been over charged twice I had to go back and get my money back each time and the nail technicians are not friendly. Today I tried getting an acrylic fill, cuticles cut and nails filled shorter. I was visiting Houston and came here. They open at 9:30 which earlier than most places. I had unlimited mimosas. They did my nails and toes at the same time which saved me time since I needed to get back to my hotel and get ready for brunch. I love the place. I was visiting Houston and came here. They open at 9:30 which earlier than most places. I had unlimited mimosas. They did my nails and toes at the same time which saved me time since I needed to get back to my hotel and get ready for brunch. I love the place. Also when i was checking out a women came in complaining about her nails that she got done 3 days ago saying she wont be coming back again either. If you want a good nail spot the Milano in heights is the best! Dont waste your time at galleria location. All the 5 Star reviews are from first time customers who wanted a discount on their nails..
