I spent quite a bit of time shopping around for a party bus for my daughter’s birthday/military going-away celebration, and this company stood out because of its great reputation and positive reviews. From the very beginning, the booking experience was excellent. They were quick to respond, offered competitive pricing, and were very flexible when I needed to make changes to our itinerary. Based on that experience, I felt confident that I had chosen the right company.Unfortunately, everything changed on the day of our rental. This was a special gift for my daughter before she returned to military service, and I wanted it to be a fun and memorable experience. Sadly, that’s not what we received.The first issue was the air conditioning. The AC was not circulating throughout the back of the bus, making it extremely hot and uncomfortable. I asked the driver if he could increase the AC, and he told me there was nothing more he could do and suggested we close the curtains so it would eventually cool down. I trusted his recommendation, but it never improved. As the trip continued, more and more people in our group commented on how muggy and hot it was inside.To make matters worse, the bus felt incredibly cramped. We specifically booked the bus that was RECOMMENDED for groups of 10–18 passengers, yet we weren’t even at the maximum capacity and everyone still felt packed together. Combined with the lack of air circulation, it became very uncomfortable.When I brought these concerns to the company afterward, I was told that the group before us had no complaints and that “it was 105 degrees in Temecula.” I found that response incredibly dismissive. One group’s experience should never be used to invalidate another customer’s concerns. A simple acknowledgment and apology would have gone much further.The biggest issue, however, happened on our way to dinner. We had reservations at 6:30 PM, and from our previous stop the restaurant was only about 6–9 minutes away. One of our passengers noticed the driver had gotten onto the freeway and questioned why we were driving farther away from our destination. I went to the front to ask where we were going, and the driver confidently said we were headed to our next stop on the itinerary. His GPS showed a 30-minute drive. I immediately told him that wasn’t correct. He handed me his phone, and I discovered he had entered a completely different address that was never on our itinerary.Because of this mistake, we didn’t arrive at the restaurant until 6:51 PM and lost our reservation. We then had to wait for another table and rush through dinner so we could make it to our final destination. We lost approximately 30 minutes of the experience that we had paid for, all because of a preventable error.What made the situation even more frustrating was the driver’s attitude afterward. When I called to let him know we had finished dinner, instead of apologizing for his mistake, he told me to “hurry up and round up your group and let’s go.” It was disappointing to be rushed because of time that was lost due to his own error. There was no accountability or acknowledgment from the driver.Even more disappointing has been the company’s response. Nearly a full day later, I still have not received an apology or any meaningful attempt to make things right. The only response I received was that they would “get with the driver on the directions, even though navigating a pre-planned itinerary should never have been an issue.”I truly wanted to leave a glowing review because the booking experience gave me high expectations. Instead, I left feeling disappointed that my daughter’s special send-off was overshadowed by issues that could have been prevented and handled much more professionallyUPDATE: it’s been a full TWO days and no accountability has been taken. the last thing said was “were you actually on the bus” — wow! ridiculous!

We had the best experience using Diego Party Bus & Limo for our wedding transportation! Mike was so responsive and the bus came early, and Guillermo was a great driver! Would absolutely book again for future events!

We had an amazing experience with this party bus company. The booking process was easy and the staff was communicative. The bus arrived on time, was clean, spacious, had great lighting and speakers, which made the ride so much fun! Our driver was professional and safe ensuring everyone had a great time while getting us to each stop on schedule and in a timely manner. The entire experience was stress free, which made our celebration more memorable. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable and fun party bus. We will absolutely be booking with them for future events!

Booked with Diego party bus for my 30th.Soooo many good things to say.Merlin was on time, so communicative, very friendly, and accommodating.I had wineries picked out I wanted to go so when he picked us up he went out of his way to call each winery and make sure they were ready for our arrival which was really nice.On top of all of that, the bus was SO clean, massive, blasting with AC, and so modern.Everyone was so happy!10000/10.

Bus got there on time & the bus driver was nice. First time renting a party bus and the reason for the one star is because I rented it for 3 hours and I was just trying to be in the bus the whole time, I told this to the lady when I booked it and she said yeah that’s fine. I live in Escondido and she said I could just pick somewhere near me like San Marcos, a 12/15 minute drive, get off real quick and after that the bus would just drive us around until we made our 3 hours. I was about to do that but thankfully I picked Oceanside, a 30 minute drive and we got off the bus for 30 minutes then when I was getting in the driver let me know that after that we would head home. I was confused and told him exactly what the lady told me and he just said oh yeah idk why she keeps doing that she’s probably gonna get fired because we’re not allowed to just drive you around. It was upsetting and he said he could do nothing on his end. He drove us to a close in n out after but we had to get off for another required 30 minutes so we were just on the bus for maybe two hours. If I would’ve known that was gonna be the case I would’ve picked either a further destination, rented it for 2 more hours and actually gone to a club or just not booked it at all since I needed up paying close to a thousand for just 2 hours when I was basically promised 3. Horrible communication won’t be booking here again.
