Ben has mentored me since 2021 and has taught me many skills in dance in a manner I have never been taught before. He’s taught me not just “dance” but ways to express my emotions on a very deep level, the ability to improvise and do not think and just do when dance doesn’t go to plan, being safe when partnering and accepting that not all partners will be all in having the skill to click into character and create a fantasy in my mind to present the viewing audience a believable chemistry to be drawn for viewers to relate and feel on the same emotional level and many other skills! He’s also taught me the responsibilities of being a man with lectures that change my perspective on reality in ways I cannot explain. He’s taught me composure, grit, life is unfair and general respect and love for those that provide for myself. I’m very grateful to be mentored by Ben I would not be the dancer and man I am today without his ideologies and philosophies and there’s not a day where I forget where my roots of training was sparked. Where do I start, Ben Veitch was the most influential teacher I had through my years of training. His style of teaching is like no other, the passion he has for helping his students “find themselves” and experiment with there capabilities is incomparable! Ben has been a pivotal role model in making me the dancer I am both technically, emotionally and physically.
