I had a representative from New Image come out for a Fire and smoke remediation estimate. I asked for proof of insurance (because I have some very valuable items in my home), and was given the name of their Insurance Broker Company. New Image also provided me with an insurance certificate that contained the insurance brokers' contact information. The phone number on the certificate of insurance provided by New Image, the phone number from my Google Search, and the number on the broker's web site was the same number... but the number did not work when I called it. I kept getting a message that said the number wasn’t working and I should check to make sure I have the right number. What most concerned me about this situation was the conversation I had with the rep from New Image Restoration (after discovering that the official information I was provided with, gave no way to contact their insurance broker). He tried to make it seem like I was crazy for wanting to be able to contact his insurance broker, using the official number on the their insurers web site, the number on Goggle and the number on the certificate that THEY provided. The Rep from New Image did give me another phone number for who they claimed was from their insurance provider... but the number they gave me did not appear on the certificate they gave me, the insurer’s official web site, OR the insurers Google search. They also claim that they are IICRC Certified (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification [IICRC] is a non-profit organization that sets standards and offers certifications for the inspection, cleaning, and restoration industries). I went to the official IICRC site to see if they are in fact, certified. New Image Restoration IS NOT listed among the companies on the official IICRC site, that are certified for fire and smoke restoration. Further... the rep from New Image sent me a text message stating that they had contacted the insurance company and everything looked good, and that they hoped to start the work before the weekend. However, I was provided with no written estimate or proposal, stating the scope and price of the job. Judging from the reviews here, I don't doubt that this company may do good work... but their liability insurance situation and their claim that they are proficient at fire and smoke remediation, is suspect. Be careful out here, folks. Do your research. Less

New ceiling fan stopped working, but that could be a mfg. issue, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. The main issues stems from the original scope of work, to what actually took place. Tashi said they would be using plastic and HEPA filters to eliminate dust as they worked. The rooms would be sealed with plastic barrier doors. When it came time to work, no plastic and no HEPA filters. The owner of the company owns a cleaning company. I’m guessing he sent in his team to clean and we couldn’t see a difference. We have a 2yr old and 4yr old living here..so we were extremely concerned with the dust and what particles were in the dust. We wound up hiring our own cleaning crew. Their crews also broke several big screen TV’s and took shortcuts wherever they could. The pics should speak for themselves. The rooms also had to be painted multiple times because they were doing touch up work with different colors. This led us to living in a hotel for over a month. When we returned home, our main bathroom sink and tub wouldn’t drain. They denied using the bathroom to clean their supplies, but we pulled blue sludge from both drains, and they continued to deny it even after I sent them a pic that showed the blue paint all over the plumbing. Hid all imperfections with massive amounts of caulk. Hardwood floors have deep scratches and gouges from their equipment and moving furniture. Less

I called New Image Restoration, and Jason and James (from Tree Services Company) were here in less than 40 minutes (10:00 p.m.). Lots of water damage, but they coordinated all the other services I needed (roofer). They were terrific. The trees were removed at 7:00 a.m. the next morning, James (roofer) followed to tarp the roof, and Mike and Chris followed to empty the rooms taking great care. The drying fans were here for 8 days. Mike coordinated everything with the insurance company, kept me in the loop, and always responded to my calls or texts. I continued to use New Image for the next phase of the project. Fabio and his crews worked long hours and were always pleasant. If there was something I didn’t like, they corrected it. When I told Tashi I wasn’t happy with the vanity, they replaced it for me. They truly wanted me to be happy. The young men who came here from New Image were hard workers, focused, and professional.
