We have had an amazing experience with Lead the Way. We took our puppy in when she was just about 6 months old for the Gold training program and have continued to use Lead the Way for boarding and club days. We saw an instant difference in our dogs obedience within just a few sessions. The trainers are very knowledgeable and willing to talk and assist in any way to make sure you walk away with a great companion.

Dakota is a rescue, she came with social problems along with fear and aggression towards people and other dogs. We expressed our concerns with LTW and they addressed them all and she is a different dog today. We would recommend them to anyone for dog training.

We were looking for a trainer for our lab pup, read many good reviews about LTW. We were able to get into the training program this past summer. Worked great for us. Easy drop off pick up, good communication, answered any questions we had with good info about how to follow through at home with the training (most important part). Very good experience.

We can’t say enough good things about Lead the Way Training! The transformation of our golden Tilly in 7 weeks was incredible! Steph and Hannah were both so helpful and made sure we understood what we needed to do at home to continue to help Tilly’s skills stick! If you’re thinking about using them..do it! We were referred by a friend to Lead the Way Training and it has truly been the best decision for our rescue pup. All of the trainers are amazing and our dog loves going to “school” at Lead the Way. Not only did she learn quickly—they also helped her work through anxiety (loud noises like trash trucks etc…) and become more confident. I would highly recommend this training to anyone who is looking to help their dog be the best version of themselves! They are true dog lovers and incredibly knowledgeable—we learned so much at every training session.

I've used dog trainers before with previous dogs but nothing compares to the level of skill and care that Russ and his team, Laura and Hannah, delivered. They're knowledgeable, confident, thorough, kind, and were able to answer every question I had. Stephanie is amazing!!! I have an 11-year-old Havanese, who used to have fear-based aggression. After 2 lessons with Stephanie, people on the street were stopping me to say that they wished their dogs were as well behaved as mine. My two sisters Brooklyn and Bridget did very well with training and continue with extra camp days for reinforcement. They are much more manageable and, while I feared breaking their feisty little spirits, they are happy and loving little girls. While they are only 20 lbs. each, they needed some training to know who the leaders of the pack are. A good investment!

Russ has been great. We adopted a reactive dog from the shelter, and have seen a massive improvement in his behavior since Russ has been involved. When we got our new puppy he wouldn’t learn commands because he always looked to our older dog. We heard good things about Blue Line and decided to give them a shot. We are amazed how much our puppy has changed. They not only work with the dogs but teach you how to work with them to reinforce what they had taught them that day. My 12-week-old lab puppy 🐶 went into training unsure of life's expectations.Throughout his learning experience with Stephanie he was not only able to master basic obedience, but adapted and overcame fear. Blue Line K-9 is AMAZING. Russ and Stephanie are absolutely fantastic. My dogs were always good, they just needed some confidence, but their owners…needed some training. If you are willing to put in the time and effort this training could save you in ways you didn’t even know was possible. I can’t thank Russ enough for all his guidance and help when we needed it.
