Our 12 year old goalkeeper son has been working with Alex via Zoom for almost two months now and has already benefited immensely from it. I truly cannot say enough great things about Alex and EMP! Our daughter is a Junior and in her second year of Varsity sports at a very competitive HS and sports program. We saw the toll it took on her last year (especially in her Spring sport) and we looked into getting something lined up for her prior to the Spring season so that she could be mentally prepared, more resliant and confident. We found EMP and loved the philosophy that Alex had and also that it was virtual. With 4 kids, driving to therapy sessions can be tough! Alex offered many time slots througout the day and even Saturdays so it worked really well with her schedule. Alex worked with her through the Spring season and also helped her work through a challenging coach situation. Last year, we would see her body language collapse at adversity, her confidence was below zero and she couldn't find the fun in the sport. She has been offered a college scholarship to play this sport and we worried (after last year) that it could be affected. What a change we saw in her this year! She played head up, confident and truly worked through some difficult situations over which she had no control. She did it without losing a step on the field and had an incredible season. EMP armed her with a toolkit of tactics that she can use in many situations not just in sports but in life. If you are thinking of EMP for your kid, don't hesitate!!!

My high school senior was a highly competitive soccer player for years until he decided his junior year that he wanted to focus more on golf than soccer. Little did we know what a mental toll golf tournament play would be for him.Through my sons club soccer, they had sports psychologists to speak with when needed. My son did utilize that but it was not helpful because they strictly wanted him to work on breathing. He didn't believe in the breathing techniques at the time and didn't connect with the gal doing his sessions.I reached out to Alex after my son decided it was finally time to have a sports psychologist help with his golf game during tournament play. I found Alex and learning he was a collegiate soccer player, I knew they would have an instant connection.The one thing my son did not want a sports psychologist to mention was anything about breathing or even speak of it. When I spoke with Alex that first time, I expressed how my son was adamant about not wanting to hear anything about breathing. Alex totally understood and expressed how he felt the same when he was younger. He did say it is a very effective technique but they would work on other techniques/tools before doing that. And that's exactly what he did.My son has been playing in many golf tournaments and just last month, he told me how much he loves breathing and how it has helped calm his nerves and how effective it has been when he is stepping up to the tee box. It refocuses him and would bring him to the present moment. This was HUGE because he never believed in breathing and now he does and uses it continually on the course. I can physically see him take an active moment and breathe while he prepares himself to address the ball.If it wasn't for the help and guidance of Alex, my son would still be stuck in a rut and frustrated. He has learned to be more present, visualize his shots and remain neutral while doing so.We are so thankful for those session with Alex and were able to watch our son change and grow into a more confident golfer during tournament plays. We are happy we found Alex and proud of the work our son has done to get where he is now.

As an ex-collegiate soccer player, I love and respect the work that Alex is doing with Elite Mental Performance. Alex is doing a fantastic job coaching my 14 year old daughter. Her confidence level was not were it should be during basketball games. She is a high level player, but was not playing up to her potential due to low confidence during games. After just a few sessions with Alex, she has actually gained so much confidence she hit the game winner to win her team the AAU championship and last weekend made the final 3 free throws to win another championship for her team. What a turn around for her. We can't wait to see the results over the next several months with her and Alex.
