I am writing this review for my mother, a 73 year old widow who after much deliberation decided to go with Mr. Patio Cover, and quite unfortunately, has been having issues with leaks ever since the install. The caulking and flashing have been redone 4-5 times, and with each time, the installer mentioning the previous installer either did not use the proper sealant or the overall quality of said sealant was "not made for Texas heat"...you will have to excuse me, but WHAT??? How is that a response let alone a viable repair when you offer a "no leak guarantee" for your patio coverings? This has been a non-stop nightmare for her for the last 8 months as every time it storms, which it does often as we are in Texas, her patio furniture is continuously having to be moved or dried out. Once a tech does return and "repairs" said leak, the opposite side will suddenly leak, and once that has been "fixed" the original leak or another will occur! She has been in contact with either the owner or manager and sent countless video and photographs of the problem, only for them to states once again they will retuern once it "dries out"...the problem here is two-fold, one being we will be approaching nearly a year and that there is no end in sight. She, let alone anyone who spends nearly $9,000 of their hard-earned money does not deserve to have to deal with such an absolute mess. At this time I am requesting that you please send someone back out who knows what to look for, what they are doing in providing said repairs​, and a more feasible explanation than the material that we use does not hold up to the Texas sun. I have provided a mix of photos which includes those just prior to Memorial day 2026 and some snapshots of the various text chains and​ continuous communication regarding issies with the install. Please, let us be done with this once and for all and complete the cover as promised, leak free and in a proper, professional manner. Thank you for your time, I shall await your response.*UPDATE: "WE NO LONGER SERVE THE DFW AREA."Guess that texas sun was indeed too much.

We would definitely refer Mr Patio Cover. We had a very good experience. From the beginning to the end. We had 2 patio cover installed which look wonderful. They were great at communicating, which is big for me. The worker Greg and his crew were great! Very nice and polite.

Absolutely amazing job well done. This was a very difficult area to work with and the owner himself helped design it. The crew worked hard and were very polite and kept the place clean. Install was seamless and the finished product came out pristine with ceiling fans led lights.Highly recommend Mr. Patio.

What a ridiculous company. I have an equity line of credit and am ready to purchase a new patio cover. Come to find out during the onboarding call that they will not come out to provide an estimate unless both my wife and I are present, company policy.We work opposite schedules, so I asked for a Saturday morning before I leave for work, or any weekday before 8:30 a.m. Nope. They can’t accommodate that and won’t bend on their policy. So we ended the call, and they wished me well.I’m completely flabbergasted. It’s hard to believe that someone did a cost-benefit analysis and decided this was the best way to compete in a commodity business; but they did! WOW!

I can honestly say this was one of the best home improvement experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, Mr. Patio Cover delivered at an exceptional level.First, Hayden, the salesperson, set the tone early. He did a fantastic job walking me through the entire process, answering every question clearly, and making sure I understood all my options without any pressure. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure customers feel confident in their decisions.But what truly made this experience stand out were Elder and Edmark, the installation team. These two are absolute professionals in every sense of the word. Not only was their workmanship top-tier—precise, clean, and built to perfection, but their attitude and approach were just as impressive.They took the time to walk me through everything, made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, and didn’t cut corners at any point. Their attention to detail is something you rarely see anymore. Beyond that, they were incredibly respectful, personable, and easy to talk to—it honestly felt like I had people working on my home who truly cared about the outcome as much as I did.The level of professionalism they showed, from communication, to cleanliness, to craftsmanship was something I’ve never experienced before with any contractor. They represent the company at the highest level, and it’s clear they take pride in their work.If I were in management, I would be doing everything possible to recognize and reward Elder and Edmark. Our patio cover is absolutely beautiful and perfectly installed! These guys are pro’s! From Hayden the friendly and very knowledgeable sales rep, to Laura who made all the demo and instal arrangements so easy, to Elder the lead installation crew member who solved a certain instal problem so perfectly, this company is the best!
