I moved to the area last summer and was looking for a coach who could help me start lifting weights (I was below a beginner level!). I have pelvic floor pain that I’d just finished 2 rounds of physical therapy to treat. I wanted to find someone who understood the care I needed to take around my pelvic floor but would also help me build strength.
Jenn was the first coach I called and she checked all the boxes! She is so knowledgeable about all types of injuries and the muscular system. She puts a huge emphasis on form - which I needed - and her cues are always spot on. Over the past 9 months, I have gained so much strength, have had little to no pelvic floor pain and can do normal things (stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, carry groceries, yard work, carry boxes, etc.) that I haven’t been able to do without pain in a long time.
Jenn keeps training simple and effective but can also program a fun HIIT workout if we feel like switching it up. She will also program workouts for me to do to stay on track while traveling. Jenn is also very knowledgeable about nutrition and while I haven’t dove too deep into that realm yet, she has given me some simple tips (how to maximize protein, eat before drinking coffee) that have gone a long way in stabilizing my blood sugar dips.
Finally, Jenn is super fun and friendly and we have a great time at our sessions! I always walk out in a better mood than I came in 😊 highly recommend Jenn and working with her is totally worth the investment!
