Over the past eight months, I have purchased two pairs of prescription glasses and had new lenses made for a frame I already owned. Because my prescription is complex, it is incredibly important for me to work with someone who truly understands and takes pride in their craft. For me, that person is Andrew.Between being nearsighted, needing a prism, having cataracts, and dealing with chronic headaches, finding the right glasses has not always been easy. I accidentally sat on my glasses, and they were extremely lopsided. After seeing the wonderful reviews that Andrew had, I called and told him my situation. He gave me the hours he would be there and I went. He straightened out my glasses in less than 10 minutes. Fabulous location it took me longer to get out of the building than it took him to fix my glasses. Last, but not least he told me no charge... that it was a minor repair. I could leave a tip or a review. I chose the review...Check the picture out. Optical Guru will get my next prescription. Customer service is awesome!!!

Part of me is hoping the Optical Guru (Andrew) stays a secret. On the other hand, the world should know about this. If you are disheartened by the choices at your local corporate eyewear mill, I have good news for you. If you yearn for a time when personality and style was reflected in spectacles, you are in luck. Andrew has curated a selection of vintage frames you cannot find at LensCrafters. Andrew has an eye for cool. He is plugged into some sort of underground retro eyeglass network and constantly unearths new iconic frames. I could tell you about my “new” pair of Playboy aviators, but only seeing is believing. Don’t sleep on this, friends.

Nothing but good things to say about Andrew. Wife and I went in to look at his sections of glasses. Andrew let my wife try on a bunch of different ones until she found the perfect match. He sent in the prescription and they came back within a week and half. Highly recommend!

I found an incredible pair of Cazal frames that had prescription lenses at their shop. They put non prescription lenses in there for me free of charge and hand delivered the glasses to my house in a timely manner. Andrew was incredibly friendly and helpful through this whole process.

Our office had Andrew out,as we all needed new glasses, and we all had an absolute blast! We tried on every frame. Every frame! Andrew was great with helping us pick them out, and discussing and explaining which lens treatments we needed, and what to look for in fit. The lenses came much sooner than we expected, and they’re perfect! I love my Kate Spade frames with the transition lenses for driving, and being outside! My no line bifocals are amazing, and my eyes don’t hurt from looking at my computer all day anymore! Thank you, Andrew for having such patience, and for doing such a fantastic job! I won’t be going to any other optical shop- I’ll just have Andrew come to me!
