I’ve had chronic insomnia for years, waking up 10+ times a night, some nights not getting to sleep for hours, some nights tossing and turning all night, latterly getting up two three times a night and snacking. I’ve never napped during the day and always had a reasonable wind down/sleep schedule. I’m 68 and retired.The Insomnia Clinic has changed all of that. From day one things improved, I took off my Apple Watch at night, hid all the clocks and didn’t look at my phone and immediately I slept better. I struggled like hell with the sleep restriction feeling like a zombie for the first two weeks but I was determined to stick with it. It’s worked and I am now on my fourth increase of 15mins a night. I go to sleep immediately and only wake up once or twice for a wee (and go straight back to sleep). The alarm wakes me in the morning and I’m no longer struggling to get up.I had a night away with a friend in a hotel last week, and I recorded my fears in my worry diary that I’d have a bad night. It was the best nights sleep I’d had in a hotel in years!I know I will have blips along the way but I’m feeling so positive and so grateful for this course as it’s changed my life.I was very sceptical at the start as I’d tried literally everything with the exception of prescription medication and I know that this course won’t work for everyone but give it a try, stick with it, it’s not easy but hopefully you’ll see a good result in the end. Fantastic course that is really easy to follow. I would highly recommend for Chronic insomniacs. The insomnia clinic has a step by step course and there is always someone available on the Facebook page to offer advice if you have any questions. I think everyone can benefit from learning more about sleep and to improve it. Less

I signed up to the online course back in April having tried hypnotherapy, acupuncture etc..I was very impressed with the course and Kathryn Pinkham helped me deal with my insomnia. The course felt very personal. However a month or so ago I had a relapse after catching covid again. I decided to have 1:1 and was lucky enough to have two sessions with Kirsty. She focused on my thought processes and how right she was. I have been sleeping every night since anything between 4-7 hours and on the nights it takes me longer to get off to sleep, I don’t worry about it and feel quite relaxed. . I can highly recommend Kathryn PInkham's online course for insomnia. I have suffered for almost 18 years, progressively getting worse. I have now made 70% improvement in less than a month (striving for the other 30%!) and made some life long changes to my routine. The course content is clear, well set out and I love the fact that I can refer back to it should I have any setbacks in the future. Thank you Kathryn! Less
