Ok, say what ya want, but this place here has been great to me! Since my divorce about 7 years ago, I've had to go to them in need of extra money and she has always been so good and fair with me! She's funny, she's nice, she will chitty chat with me for a couple minutes, and if I ever purchase something from her, she's always fair! Would never go anywhere but here!! Definitely recommend this place. They're fair, kind, and come on, of course they're out to make money people, don't be ridiculous, but they are good to their customers. Maybe once I didn't do business with them, but if I had to be honest I'm sure they were fair in not wanting my item. Truly have sincere respect for this business, and let's face it, how often do we get to say that about businesses these days! So yep, five stars for sure!!!

We visited this store on Saturday and were very pleased with our experience! We had a large quantity of jewelry items to be looked at. Braden was so helpful, kind, intelligent, experienced and professional!! We monopolized almost her entire afternoon but she never seemed rushed and was apologetic if she had to wait on other customers. We were very pleased with her evaluation of our items and feel her offers were very good. We were also impressed with their store. It was very clean,bright, well organized and a pleasure to browse in. We would recommend this business for all your needs! We definitely will return!!

I sold some antique and vintage jewelry here about a month ago and it was an amazing experience. I had several pieces and Rob was kind enough to carefully examine each piece. His daughter Brayden was also so kind and helpful. They are very professional and knowledgeable and offered me a very fair price for my jewelry. I had many items and was on the fence over selling a couple of them. I changed my mind on one or two pieces while there, then changed it again on one. Yet Rob was very patient and understanding with me. Even though it was very close to the end of their business day, I never felt rushed. I will absolutely be going back to sell more items in the future. They also have an amazing inventory for purchase and I will definitely be back to shop there as well. Customer service was incredible. Highly recommend them!

It was my 1st time using derby pawn and I was so happy with my entire experience. I'm not familiar with the area and they talked me through town on the phone. When an item was stolen from us, my fiancé provided Derby Pawn with a description and pictures, in hopes that the thieves would bring it into the shop. The next day we received a call, providing enough information for the police to track down the minor criminals and retrieve the stolen item! Tried showing up to this pawn shop the last two days. Monday I can get cause sometimes stores are closed on Mondays but I drove 30 miles today on Tuesday to go to this shop that says it’s open on google for it to be closed and a sign on the front door that says will open today at 12pm. Why not update your store times on google if you want to sleep in? Just bad business ethic.

Will never do business with this place again.. went to get my wife's necklace, which I bought, out of pawn today and the dude stereo typed me off the gate like I was trying to steal something. I had the pawn ticket, and both mine and my wife's id and explained its hard for my wife to get there because of her work hours and he still refused to help me. Then my wife called him and he still refused to let me pay and get her necklace out.. it's ok. I'll get her there to get it. And pray for the grumpy judgemental old man...have to be a local to get treated decent at this place.. smh. Hence all the good reviews from locals

My wife has been using Derby pawn for over 18 years, anytime we need a loan just to make it to payday or in times of need this is where we go. She calls Rob her "pawn father" and his family that helps run the shop, her "pawn family". Derby pawn is fair on prices and Willing to negotiate prices. Loan interest is fair and timely. If you're behind on a payment just call. This is a family run business and willing to work with you. They understand everyday life and what comes with it. My wife is Sam. I'm sure they know who I'm writing for. I also want to say thank you for always being fair. Only downfall my wife wishes you were open on Mondays. Oh Rob I heard about the puppy kisses. She said there's never a dual moment when she stops by your shop. Lol
