We have been so happy with Lisa’s training. Fern, our new rescue dog loves the training days and all the treats of course ! Lisa is very calm and patient. I enjoy the hand outs as I can always refer back to them if I forget anything. Fern is a much more confident dog since started training with Lisa. Thank you so much for helping us with Fern!

Lisa helped us with a VERY reactive Sheltie. She was great with clear instructions and good training exercises to help us. Definitely improved our dogs behaviour.Would recommend!

Our Puppy Fonzo took a 6 week puppy training course with Lisa. The course was great fun, really interesting and hugely beneficial for Fonzo. His general behaviour and obedience has come on in leaps and bounds!!The course content was excellent. Different exercises each week, designed with a lot of thought, in order to reinforce learning without being repetitive.Communication with Lisa is excellent. On one occasion we needed to reschedule because of local flooding. Lisa rearranged for her next available date.Fonzo is coming to work with me now. His behaviour and recall have been very good so farWe will definitely be going back for more sessions after we have spent some time reinforcing what Fonzo has already learnt.

We contacted Lisa to guide us with our first husky. After many years of being Labrador parents we felt we needed, and were prepared, to put the hard work in to ensure we started our training on the correct foot for a new unfamiliar breed. Lisa has provided us with so much support, knowledge, advice and tips to keep our husky healthy and happy both in mind and body through these first 6 months.Providing weekly lessons, easy to follow training guides to support throughout and to use again and again after the course completion. Which we are now doing whilst he goes through ‘the teenage years’.We have learnt so much more than just ‘sit and wait’ from Lisa. Taking us through an understanding of the psychology of our husky has been a huge help in keeping him happy and as calm as possible. We would absolutely recommend Lisa and we are looking forward to her support and training in the future once our Husky is ready for the next step.

We were really pleased with the training sessions Lisa from LNZ Dog Training did with our dog, Harley. He took to her straight away and was genuinely excited every time she came, which made the sessions enjoyable as well as productive.We particularly appreciated that the training came to us. Sessions started at home, then gradually moved out into real-world situations, including local streets and the park around other dogs and distractions. That step-by-step approach felt practical and well thought through.Lisa explained each technique clearly, demonstrated everything, and left us with simple written guidance after each session so we could keep things consistent between visits. Over the weeks we saw clear improvements in Harley’s behaviour, and by the final session he was showing strong progress towards the goals set at the start.Over the six weeks, the improvement was obvious, and we feel confident continuing with the tools Lisa gave us. We would happily work with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for clear, practical dog training.

We completed the 6 week puppy plan with Lisa for our cocker spaniel Ernie. Lisa helped us build confidence in handling Ernie and gave us clear guidance. Lisa was helpful and professional throughout. Ernie really enjoyed the training! We’re grateful for all of Lisa’s support and expertise.

We started having one to one training sessions with Lisa as our dog Nora wasn’t focused enough and easily distracted especially by other dogs and in a group environment. Lisa quickly set out a tailored programme of 5 weeks which has been fabulous and has resulted in Nora being more settled and responsive to commands especially on walks, which have become much easier and controlled. We are now into our third week of recall and making steady progress. Lisa’s calm training of both Nora and us is reaping benefits 😄 Nora having a rest after training

I initially started training with Lisa as I was having difficulty with my terriers recall and her desire to chase wildlife! We have completed 5 sessions with Lisa so far, working on loose lead walking. I am impressed with my dogs progress currently - Lisa has given me more of an understanding of my dogs behaviour and how to work alongside my dog rather than against her. I look forward to doing another round of sessions where we will focus more on recall.
