WOW — what an unexpected gem! Station 10 Empanadas was the highlight of our quick stop in Jasper on our way north. The empanadas were absolutely amazing — both savory and sweet — and truly delicious. They were so good that they made me want to come back to Jasper just to visit again.And the hot cocoa? Hands down the BEST hot cocoa I have ever had.The restaurant was super clean, and even the bathroom was pretty and well cared for, which always says a lot. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and I also loved learning the heartfelt story behind the restaurant’s name. Our family discovered Station 10 last year when we journeyed from Ellijay while on vacation. The kids loved it so much we had to take several frozen empanadas back to the cabin to eat later. This year my husband and I went to the mountains without the kids to celebrate our anniversary. The only thing they asked for us to bring back for them was more empanadas. We stopped on our way home today and picked up 34 frozen to bring back to Florida and a few more already heated to eat on the road! If you like a little spice, try the chicken/corn/cheese dipped in garlic aoli!!!!

So many to choose from! Shrimp is delicious! The desserts were lovely. They even have a bacon, egg and cheese empanada for breakfast with terrific coffee. Will definitely come back.
