This review is mainly for Brandy. My son has been going to her for haircuts ever since his first haircut back in 2022. She has been great for us. Knows what she’s going, very friendly, my son seems to be comfortable with her. She is amazing. Definitely recommend her

Sharkey's Cerritos has been my go-to and my son's favorite place to get a haircut over the past few years! Brandy is an awesome hairstylist. She's always peppy and her happiness is contagious! The atmosphere is geared towards kids and is welcoming for all ages. My son loves to play games on the PS4 and never wants to leave. As usual, my son shows up with a bushel of hair and leaves looking sharp! Thank you Brandy and Sharkey's!

This place has turned around. The toxic staff is all gone and all the new gals are amazing!!! I highly recommend this place to everyone. They took their time and were very patient with our son. They also do a great job with Special Needs kids. I saw them team up and calm a child down to finish up the hair cuts. My personal favorite is Brandy she is great and does great with dads hair as well.

I think they do a great job here. This is the only place I have taken my son, and he won't even let us touch his hair at home, so if Sharkeys goes under we are totally screwed, he will just have hobo hair the rest of his life I suppose.Brandy has cut my kiddos hair the last few times and she does an amazing job and is super patient w him.He is on the spectrum and tends to get overwhelmed and she is super accommodating.

We love Sharkey’s! We’ve been coming here for 3 years and always recommend it to anyone who needs to get their child’s haircut.My kids get to pick where they sit, which includes a fire truck, bat mobile, and Mickey car. They also have video games for kids to play and let the kids pick what they want to watch while they’re getting their hair cut.Brandy is our absolute favorite and helped my child when he was young and had trouble getting his hair cut. Everyone here is kind and patient.

Brandy is heaven sent- literally. I have been taking my son to have his hair trimmed by Brandy since he was 3.5 years old (he is now 7) at Sharkey’s in Cerritos. The receptionist always greets with a smile and my son is always welcomed with open arms. My son is autistic and loud environments can be overwhelming for him, as well as everything that entails getting a haircut. The staff are always inclusive & accepting and we have never felt like we’ve needed to apologize for his behavior or like everyone is staring at us when he stims or is being loud. Brandy is truly an expert at making my son feel comfortable and safe in a place that could easily be so overwhelming for a child on the spectrum. Aside from that, she also does an amazing job at cutting his hair and making him look so darn handsome! There is absolutely nobody I would recommend more than Brandy if you need to get a haircut whether you’re on the spectrum or neurotypical. I am never disappointed with the end result and you won’t be either!

This was my daughter’s first salon haircut and she was so nervous but the experience was amazing! The place is so cute and perfect for kids. Ashley was soo sweet and made her feel comfortable and was lovely to talk to the entire time. Not only did she get a shampoo and cut but she painted her nails and let her pick out a ring and bow 😭❤️ we will definitely be back! Thank you so much for everything!

My son hates it when I cut his hair. We finally decided to get professional help. Brandy was so fun and kind to him. I was blown away by how still he sat for her. She let him choose his car and put on his favorite show. The place was clean and spacious. I would definitely come back.

Such an amazing experience! My 4 year old got her first haircut here, and they treated her like a princess! She got her hair cut and they asked her if she wanted one or two braids then let her pick out her own bows then put sparkles on her hair (which she absolutely loved) then they proceeded to do her nails to complete the experience. My daughter was so excited when we left as it was such a good experience because she was so scared before going. I also love that they gave us a picture and a certificate as well as a lock of her hair for memories as it was her first time.
