The amount of patience the instructors have is remarkable, they treat all kids with respect!I will definitely be keeping my toddler in this program LONG TERM! They teach Routine, structure, manners, health and wellness, defense, eye contact and among many other things participation. My son is recently diagnosed with Autism and struggled but since attending this class after week 2 he has now figured out routine and friendly “kid military” structure while having FUN! Preface -If you don't care about learning martial arts/self defense and just need a little workout for the kids then by all means go for it, this is intended to inform parents that want their kids to reap ALL the benefits of martial arts.I had my daughter there a while back to learn martial arts 🥋 since she's very active and interested in many sports and activities. I attended every class with her to make sure it was a good Dojo for her.The Good -1.They do work on character building.2. They are nice and stern when they need to be.The Bad-1. Promotion system/belt promotion 🥋. When I attended I saw a bunch of kids with (blue, green, yellow, orange) belts which at first I was impressed. As the months went on I noticed everybody get promoted to the next belt color if they just keep attending/paying. Ceremony event which parents pay for. No offense to some parents, but I saw many of the kids get promoted to a belt color that they did NOT have the skills for. But since they regularly attended class for a set amount of time, they automatically get promoted. That told me all I needed to know and I took my daughter out right away.2. Fake Dojo Money grab. You're just buying being promoted to the next belt.3. They don't take the kids to martial arts tournaments. Their words "we don't want them to be in tournaments and fight". What he really means is I don't want others to expose that our system doesn't work. (Ex.) If they were to take a blue/blue belt to tournament, they would lose to a white/yellow belt. Less

I set an appointment with Mr. Bustos for my son, and we ended up loving the personal class!Beyond the exercise, what really stood out was the character, values, and focus of this training school—exactly what I was hoping for in terms of helping kids develop confidence and self-esteem.My son is currently attending and learning about discipline, not just for class but for his daily life as well.I definitely recommend bringing your kids here. They’ll learn a bit of everything while strengthening both their mind and body. Less
