It’s a confusing place when you first come in. They have a reception area, but it’s actually not their reception area. It’s the reception area for a place called importing which they call a “sister” company. The location is very run-down looking. And the receptionist doesn’t check you in. You check in with someone remotely on n iPad, and the only purpose i can see for that person existing is to notify the massage therapist that you’ve arrived. For an added layer of confusion, the massage therapist isn’t located in the same suite as the reception. So the massage therapist has to walk from their suite to iMotion to pick you up and walk you back there. That place is also no-frills, and I’m okay with that, i guess, because i am not coming here for a spa day. I have compressed nerves in my shoulder and neck, and i need someone competent and knowledgeable. Luckily, i was assigned to Jariah. She did an excellent job loosening the muscles that are compressing the nerves, and i plan to go back. The pricing is reasonable. They are told to discourage tipping because this is for medical or therapeutic relief. The room was fine. Not spa-level, so don’t expect that, but definitely calming. I have a couple of other minor complaints. One is that the massage table is a bit creaky/rickety-feeling. The company could invest in sturdier equipment and a higher quality sound machine. It was fine, just repetitive. Additionally, their online booking is opaque in odd ways. They have professionally stretching listed, for example, but they don’t have anyone who does that job right now, so even though you can book it online, they don’t actually offer that service. They also don’t have any listings of their massage therapists, and you can’t choose online. They do have a text box for notes, so I’ll put Jariah’s name down for the second massage, but I’m not sure if I’ll get her. I’ll report back. Maybe i will have to call first. TLDR; massage therapist is skilled, pleasant, and worth it. Check in system gives red flag energy. And this place is for medical relief, not spa/relaxation.
