We sent our puppy to these folks for housebreaking. He came home knowing no more than when he left. He stayed with them for 3 weeks. They promise frequent updates. During the 3 weeks they had our dog we only heard from them on 2 occasions. That’s not frequent. We explained that we were only interested in housebreaking. None of the sit/stay/whatever skills. Housebreaking only. The two contacts we had from them were videos of his PLACE training No evidence of housebreaking training. Not what we asked for/paid for at all. Once our dog wasreturned to us they advertise follow up services. That’s a joke. They do not even answer emails much less provide follow up training. Avoid this “business!”

I am so thrilled with the training my two dogs received with VIRGINIA KEL9.My dogs were all over the place jumping on people to using my living room furniture as a jungle gym. Both dogs learned advanced obedience during their boarding train. They were gone for a total of three weeks, which in the beginning, I was nervous about, however I quickly realized that Kelly our trainer is a true professional, and was taking very good care of my dogs. In our report cards, my dogs looked very relaxed and comfortable in the training videos. It was the highlight of my day to receive our report cards and watching my dogs progress. This was such a fun experience and much needed. I’m truly grateful for Kelly and her expertise and look forward to attending pack walks in the future. Customer for Life..

I highly recommend Virginia Kel9. Kelly is a spectacular trainer. She worked with my dog who has separation anxiety. Another major concern I had was reactivity and confidence with my dog. When I picked him up it was like he was a different dog and it’s changed my entire life. She was thorough when she went through my training at pick up and she answered all my questions even if some of them were a little silly. Thank you Kelly!! You’re the best ❤️

Kelly took the time to work with me on understanding how to communicate better with my dogs once they completed the training. Kelly was amazing at transforming our counter-surfacing , back door banging, grandkid toy snatching, non-listening German Wirehaired Pointer puppy! She trained Millie as well as my husband and me! Wow! Millie is still a sweet and gentle puppy but, thanks to Kelly’s training techniques, our day-to-day life has changed dramatically! I appreciated the text and video updates, and we could tell that Millie was loved by Kelly while she was there. Millie will return for boarding this summer, and I think she’ll enjoy being reunited with Kelly again! I kept hearing how effective e-collar training was for correcting behaviors, and now I’m a true believer. Thank you, Kelly!!!

I can’t thank Kelly enough!! She was able to board our pups very last minute and made me feels so comfortable leaving them with her. They’re not easy pups, but she handled them both so well and got to know their personalities! I would trust her with them any day!!

I reached out to Virginia Kel9 for help with training my Shepherd. I was at my wits end with him and needed help. Kelly took the time to listen to my concerns and we made arrangements for training. Kelly picked him up and sent me updates throughout his 3 weeks with her. He learned so much and he is a completely different dog. I understand that I need to continue reinforcing what he has learned to keep his training going but Trainer Kelly is super helpful with any questions and support needed after he came home. This was a positive experience overall and I highly recommend Virginia Kel9 to dog parents.
