Well I took out the 9 braids and called to confirm that I was on my way. Only yo get there, wait a few for my turn, sit in the seat and the Braider says to me “well it’s going to be $40 now. For the length”. I let her have it professionally telling her that she was very wrong for lying to me and waiting for me to take out my hair and return to her seat to switch the price. She saw my hair and the length before confirming the appointment. To make it worse she totally messed up the front of my hair and did NOT know how to do knotless braids (which I questioned when she did the first one. I couldn’t tell that it was a mess until I left. I will NEVER go back and hope everyone will be aware of this poor practice. Less

I went to this location at 12pm to see if they could do my hair and told them with agreement that I would be back at 4pm. I arrived at 3:40pm to be told to come back at 5:30pm. I called at 4:50pm to make sure I was still scheduled for 5:30pm. She said she would call me back because she step away from the salon. I still showed up at 5:30pm to be do that she had to finish yet another clients hair. ... More

I had to go to work and my aunts funeral the next day......Later that night I text the number and told them that I was unsatisfied with my hair and the service.....they didn’t respond back until 3 am.....I got this done on a Sunday and it’s Thursday and the braids are loose (been loose since I left shop) u can barely see my parts! I gave the person a picture of how I wanted my daughters hair to look, I was nervous because the stylist they gave was new and braiding the hair wrong, so they gave me a stylist that knew what she was doing. Now I will say she braided it nice, but it looked nothing like the picture I gave her. I think she had trouble braiding anything that wasn't straight, like if I wanted a design. The second time I went, it was terrible, they still couldn't do the style in the picture and my daughter's hair only lasted a week before it started to unravel. My last and final time going the hair did not look how I wanted but it was convenient to not have to travel anywhere else, so I was okay with it, until I went to pay. When I went to pay they told me since I was paying with a credit card, it would be a $10.00 fee added to my bill. It would be nice to let customers know this ahead of time. $10.00 is too much to add just for using my credit card, when the style itself is already $100.00 plus I always tip the stylist with cash. In the end I paid for a style that didn't look professionally done, I tipped the stylist, and I paid an extra $10.00 for using my credit card. Therefore, it is no longer convenient to go to this place. I will just drive the extra distance to a place that does my hair good and doesn't charge me an outrageous fee just to use my credit card. It’s challenging to do my hair because I virtually have little to no edges but she knew how to braid my hair underneath (I got crotchet braids) so I could get maximum coverage of my edges. I was truly satisfied and my head felt great when I left. I’ve gone to other salons and had a headache when I left because they pulled my hair to tight. With her, it was just right. And she’s quick. I had a terrible experience and I will never go back nor will I recommend it to anyone. They did not wash her hair before braiding it. No one told me that the water was not working when I took her to the shop. When I went to pick her up her hair was braided they took my $60 and never said they did not wash her hair. Needless to say I was not very happy. I suggest you find another shop.... More

The ladies in the shop where very nice. And did a great job on my box braids. I will be coming back to this shop for them to do other hair styles.

My hair should look full but it don't. I have had the First and worst experience ever as far as getting my hair braided in all my years of living.. I recently had a bad experience with frontal lace that messed up my edges completely but my hair it self was good. I didn't want my micros tied in a knot because its hell when trying to take them out. In addition, the other lady who assisted appeared to know what she was doing but later seemed to have a issue when I'm asked her to correct somethings that was not done to my satisfaction and should have been done correctly from the start by the young lady. I'm very disappointed. Some of my braids in the back was not fully braided down and some of them would have remained shorter than the front and side the other lady was doing if I had not spoken up about it. It seems like MD is out of the ? For me getting my hair braided here again. To pay the price that I paid was an understatement and I only paid because the ladies did stand/sit for hours to complete a crappie job. Unfortunately, I could never go back here nor recommend anyone to try them. Less

Bridgette did my Marley twists in 3.5 hours!!! And they look fabulous! She was attentive and friendly! I will be returning. :)

Got a same day appointment...women were fast...shop not as clean as I would have hoped and they had mosquitoes and used the same wet towel on everyone's hair ...no bueno. Prices weren't very consistent, but the results were overall good...bring your own towel LOL... More

After reading all of the great reviews, I decided to give this shop a try just because of the ratings and reviews... I got my hair braided on this past Sunday by Nicole and needless to say she is everything Bridgette said. Nicole was so friendly, pleasant, and gentle and you can also tell she has a passion for what she does. I called today, 5/16/17, and had to go back today to get 3 braids tightened for what I thought was kinda loose, but when I got there Nicole and Bridgette explained that they did not want to pull my hair too tight. The end result, Nicole re-did my 3 braids and touched up a few additional braids with no attitude, hesitation or problem... I love my braids and I will definitely be back!!
