I had a lovely experience today with Avneet. She is a fantastic RMT- catered to my back pain extremely well. She really tailored the session to understand what needed most work and made me feel comfortable throughout. She recommended stretches to perform day to day for my stiff shoulders too which I thought was very thoughtful! I loved the massage and the facility is nice too- will surely be returning!

I’ve been seeing Melanie for both prenatal massage therapy and treatment following a motor vehicle accident, and it has been the most pleasant experience. She has been incredibly attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring.Melanie creates an environment that immediately puts me at ease during every session. Her treatments have been very effective, and I notice improvement in my pain, mobility, and overall comfort after the appointment. I especially appreciate how she goes above and beyond by showing me helpful stretches and exercises to continue at home, which has made a noticeable difference in managing my pain and recovery.I’m so grateful to have found an RMT who is not only highly skilled, but also so kind and personable. I personally prefer Kunal and Cole for my massage therapy since I'm into casual weight lifting and they gave me tips and tricks afterwards that have helped treat and prevent pain and soreness. I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent appointment.During my scheduled one-hour session, the intake and consultation lasted approximately 15 to 20 minutes before the actual treatment began. Given the rate of $140 plus tax, I believe the treatment portion should occupy more of the allotted time. Ideally, the initial consultation should take 3 to 5 minutes to establish the client's needs.It appeared that the therapist was quite exhausted, which may be affecting the efficiency of the sessions. I would suggest implementing breaks between appointments or adjusting the schedule to ensure therapists are fully refreshed for each client. Regardless of insurance coverage, it is important that clients receive the full duration of the treatment they are paying for.

I am very disappointed with the experience at Surge Wellness, specifically with RMT Ustat Chhabra.My husband had a one-hour RMT appointment scheduled for 11:30 AM on May 12. Rather than attending to his patient, the RMT spent nearly 20 minutes outside the treatment room discussing an ICBC claim issue with another patient. Even when I arrived for my own 11:45 AM appointment, he was still engaged in that conversation. checked my husband (msg)at approximately 11:50 AM, assuming perhaps another therapist would be taking over the appointment; however, no one did.Despite nearly 20 minutes of the appointment being lost, the session still concluded at 12:30 PM, and he was charged for the full one-hour treatment. Since insurance covered most of the cost, it appeared there was little concern regarding the proper delivery of the service being billed.Unfortunately, a similar issue occurred again during my husband’s follow-up appointment today at 5:30 PM. He informed the clinic in advance that he would be arriving slightly late due to last minute work obligations, yet the same RMT concluded the session after approximately 40 minutes while still charging for a full hour saying if you are late that’s not my problem . This was particularly frustrating given that, during the previous appointment, my husband had already spent nearly 25 minutes waiting for treatment to begin and still paid for one hour!What makes this even more concerning is that I later found out this RMT is also the founder of the clinic. That honestly raises questions about the kind of standards and coaching being provided to the other RMTs working there if this is the example being set.Overall, this experience was highly unprofessional, disrespectful of patients’ time, and unacceptable for a healthcare provider charging full rates for incomplete treatment sessions.Definitely not going back there!Response to your response on my review- You got all our information as I mentioned when we booked appointments! So if you want to correct that you can contact us rather than asking us to contact you! Which is a basic courtesy!

When I say I’d cross oceans to see Melanie for RMT services, that’s hardly hyperbole- I cross Surrey to be treated by her and that’s about the same thing! Melanie is kind, warm, and funny, and as personable as she is professional, to say nothing of her healing hands. Every massage is a magical experience! I have a lot of chronic pain after my accident and Melanie is the only person in the area I trust for relief.

I was able to get in very last minute for an hour massage with Kunal.I was struggling with some lower back pain And stiffness with some movements being quite difficult. He was very thorough with his preliminary assessment and kept checking in throughout the session to ensure I was comfortable. After the session. My back feels tremendously better.I will definitely be rebooking.They also do direct billing which is a huge plus and one less thing that you have to worry about.Thank you ☺️
