We bought a watercolor and an oil in Italy this year and took them straight to Aum. Both came back better than we imagined. The design studio consultation is the reason we keep going back. The staff know materials, proportion, and color, and they explain the trade-offs instead of just handing you a catalog. The double mat on the watercolor and the depth on the oil were their calls, and both were right. We have used Aum on several pieces now and will continue to. If you have art worth framing properly, start here.

The owner of this company was super friendly and beyond helpful in the situation I was in with a beautiful shadow box. This place I highly recommend and will be bringing many more project her way.

This is the second project I have taken for framing to AUM. The workmanship is beautiful. It was a pleasure to do business with them. I believe they have been in business for 30+ years. 😊

Excellent customer service and quality. I had 3 prints from Bhutan and plenty of time was spent picking out the right combo. We got it right- not cheap, but well worth the extra $ for the quality.

I cannot speak highly enough about AUM framing. They went above and beyond to work with us to frame this custom painting with uncommon dimensions to achieve a stunning result. Jeff is an incredibly thoughtful and caring person and they treat their customers like family. Not only do they do amazing work, they support their local community including the east high school arts program. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get framing work done and will only be using them for future projects.

Superb service and work. We came in with a treasured piece and minimal experience with framing. Jeff made a framing recommendation that complimented our artwork in a masterful way. The whole team is fantastic.

This frame store is an absolute GEM to have in Denver. The staff is unbelievably helpful and genuinely want to help you find the perfect frame / design for your art. I've worked with Gloria and Heather previously and they are fantastic.Support local and give them your business!

Jeff and team at AUM have framed a number of things for me over the years, ranging from an archival Japanese hinge mounting of a nearly-400-year-old paper map to modern artworks. This is the best place to have anything framed in the Denver area. Jeff is a true artist of his craft and is wonderful to work with to select the right frame, matting and other details. This is not the place you go if you're trying to get the lowest price -- this is the place you go if you want an exceptional framing. The team doesn't hard sell you on anything and walks you through the different options you have in terms of glass quality, frames, and other options so you can make a decision on what combination is right for the piece you're having framed. Recommend you make an advance appointment so you can take all the time you need to go through the different options without anyone being rushed.

Being new to the Denver area, decorating our condo was very important in making sure it reflects our personal taste, while incorporating some the art from our Chicago home, which represents many memorable occasions in the past. As several of our lithographs date from the early- to mid- 1970's, the framing style was dated and and a bit drab. After researching the various frame gallery options in the area, we chose AUM Framing and Gallery based on the many glowing reviews that their customers have posted in the past. We found the descriptions of friendliness, and talent of their staff to be spot on! And their many choices of framing styles were varied and intriguing. Jeffrey Protsman, Lead Designer, and Heather Smith, Designer/Framer, could not have been more caring and invested in our project. They both took time to walk us through what needed to be considered so that the final product (a grouping of three lithos) would have an entirely new, more modern look and much more "pop" on the wall.We are extremely appreciative of the efforts of AUM's team, and the excellent guidance and service we received. Thank you Jeff and Heather!

I love these guys! They really helped bring my vision to life and were so enthusiastic about helping me with my pieces. The masks required some stitching and they preserved the movement of the straps, ensuring nothing was damaged. They are the only ones I’d trust with my most important pieces and they’re so fun and great to work with. I can’t recommend them enough!

Worked with Jeff and Gloria twice to frame four items. Custom frames are always more expensive than off the shelf but the experiences have been very creative and positive. I am so glad I worked with them and proud of the frames they frames the gave my art. The end products are 10/10, complimenting and enhancing the art/posters. I’ll absolutely consider them again in the future.

I brought two pieces in to be framed, and they are absolute perfection. When looking for a shop for my pieces, it was really important to me that I found a place that had a unique selection of frames as well as staff who have the artist eye. I worked with Jeffrey, and he was able to help me find the perfect fit for both drawing out undertones and enhancing their features. I’ve already recommended your shop to multiple people!

I have had several pieces framed at AUM over the years, and I always go back because their work is outstanding. From helping me choose the best design (most recently we went in a totally different direction than I had planned and the result is far better than what I had imagined) to the quality of the product (I've done smaller products at Michael's and the difference is night and day) I know I'll get a piece of art that will last. I pay more, but it's absolutely worth it.

2025-04-04T20:09:10.203Z

I had a family heirloom painting reframed and it made all the difference in the world! The suggestions from the team were terrific and not at all what I would have picked on my own. The painting is now proudly displayed in our home.

2025-03-29T18:39:35.418Z

I have worked with three different designers and they have all been excellent! I never start out knowing what I want, and they skillfully and patiently work with me until it's exactly what I want.Finished pieces are expertly created and of the highest quality. This is the only shop I will go to for framing.

Everyone was so kind and helpful, and they helped fix two damaged picture frames and add new glass. They were super professional, took maybe a week, and the price was totally fair. Highly recommend for framing and repairs- we will absolutely be back for any framing needs in the future!

2025-02-24T18:13:12.011Z

This is not my first time using AUM Framing. The reason I return is that the staff -- in this case, Jeff -- takes tremendous care in working with me to match the frame with the art work involved. The goal is to create a total work of art through enhancing the art work with the chosen frame, something that takes time and appreciation. I highly recommend the expertise and sensitivity of the framers at AUM.

2025-02-23T23:02:53.801Z

AUM Framing is done so professionally and with such kindness and consideration. We would absolutely use them again for any future framing needs. They went above and beyond!

This place delivers a great product for a fair price and makes your art come alive. Could not recommend this spot more

I am thrilled to have found this little gem of a local shop. They have a solid selection of frames and everyone seems quite knowledgable. The best part of my experience - in addition to my newly framed treasures - has been working with Kim! She is fantastic to work with, friendly, helpful, creative in her approach and solutions to what I have been trying to accomplish. I will definitely return.
