I needed a new electrician, so I searched for a local company for the initial work installing Cat 6 data cables through our home. They were the only company to respond, so that was a good start. To say it was a challenging job would be an understatement, but the two electricians persisted through the difficulties and had the baseline set up. They also installed a wifi extender in the ceiling. It was a very messy job, and they cleaned up well. To mount the TVs, additional work was required to provide additional strength in the walls. After that, the final installation of the TV brackets was undertaken, as well as the data switch. Everything worked first time.Based on that work, I requested they return to provide an electrical safety inspection. As I suspected, there were quite a few issues, and I agreed to their recommendation to replace every light switch and power point, as well as the power safety board switches.Copper was exposed on several cables at the dealer box, cables were not tied of properly, and one multipoint light switch exploded when the cover was taken off. Needless to say, there were many electrical risks, including the discovery of a random, unconnected power cable that was not terminated safely.Their team is very professional and respectful, and I certainly recommend them. The photo is of the reconfigured power safety breaker switches.
