For example, today, they did half of their lesson in a life vest, something that was never part of the curriculum at the other school. I wish i would have discovered Marlin sooner. We opted for private lessons to start with Brennan for the summer, who btw is fantastic! My kids could not swim and I can see how his teaching talent is helping them understand and pick up the basics, with quick learning progressions, and ability to swim short distances after 2 weeks alone. I plan on enrolling the kids at the facility for the school year in order to keep progressing and learning. Their attention to detail have met my expectations and more. I am thrilled. Less

I want to leave a review and recommend a wonderful professional swimming instructor Kelly! My daughter was 2.5 years old when we started our swimming lessons. Here it is worth saying that we are not local and this is a new country and language for us. But Kelly, just incredibly calm and positive, was able to find an approach to my child, so already after the first lesson the child did not want to leave. Gradual steps and group activities helped to quickly adapt and get used to the water. Kelly is not just a professional, but also an incredible person who has her own teaching methods, which made the lessons very interesting and after each lesson we had a new small achievement! So when I started private swim lessons at Marlin Swim Academy I had minimum expectations but this week my son completed his where on the last class he happily and confidently jumped into the deep end of the pool ! Kelly got back to me quickly and we had the entire summer scheduled and ready to go. I really feel like we hit the jackpot with Kandice as our instructor! She was AMAZING with my almost 3 year old son. Her natural ability and instincts as a mother, along with her skills in teaching the basics of swimming equate to one of the best instructors I have ever met. She took the time to get to know my son. She never pressured him to the point where he felt uncomfortable, but encouraged him during lessons to go out of his comfort in the water in the most creative and fun ways. We are amazed at the growth we have seen in his comfort in the water and beginning stages of swimming thanks to Kandice.
