We've hired Chloe from Marlin Swim Academy for 2 years of private home swimming lessons for my kids (aged 4-6), and she's fantastic! Patient, kind, understanding, and just the right mix of silly and serious - so our kids can have fun while still learning the importance of water safety and knowing when it's time to learn and practice new skills.We chose private lessons because my older son is on the autism spectrum and wouldn't do well in a group setting. During our first lesson last summer, it took him over 20 minutes to even get in the pool. She was extremely patient and understanding the whole time. This summer, he was so excited to see her again!At first it seemed like he wasn't making much progress this summer, because he needs longer than usual before he feels comfortable trying new things. Especially with the sensory challenges that come with swimming. However, it turns out he was quietly absorbing everything Chloe taught, and he surprised us at his last swimming lesson by suddenly swimming back and forth across the pool, even underwater, and jumping in over and over again. Her patience made all the difference.He loves swimming now, and we have Chloe to thank for that!

This is our third summer with Marlin Swim Academy and we are so happy with the company and our wonderful instructor, Kandice. Our girls (aged 7 & 8) are doing private lessons and look forward to Kandice showing up each week. She has assessed where each of them are at, and challenges them to try new things. They love working on new techniques and showing off their new skills between lessons. Kandice has helped make them more confident swimmers and we hope to work with her again in the future!

I cannot say enough good things about Marlin Swim Academy. Our instructor (for a 3yo toddler) was Ana and she was absolutely wonderful! Professional, kind, punctual, flexible, skilled as an instructor, and someone who very obviously enjoys her work. Our daughter absolutely adored her and made a ton of progress over the course of the summer. We are looking forward to booking more 1:1 lessons with Ana in the future!Kelly was also very helpful and flexible to ensure that we were able to book our summer sessions.Thank you Ana and the MSA team!!

We had an outstanding experience with Kelly at Marlin Swim Academy this summer. Our goal for our five-year-old daughter was simply for her to feel comfortable enough to swim to the side of the pool on her own. Thanks to Kelly’s engaging, patient, and encouraging instruction, she far exceeded that—by the end of the summer, she was swimming an entire length of the pool with confidence! The progress has been remarkable, and even her grandparents have noticed how comfortable she now is in the water. Kelly truly went above and beyond, and I would highly recommend her and Marlin Swim Academy to anyone.

We recently started private lessons with Tracey and are incredibly impressed so far! After just 2 sessions, my 5 year old, who couldn't stay afloat on his back, has learned how to swim across the pool on his back. My 7 year old is learning proper form and technique in her front and back crawls. The best part; they are having a blast each week; smiling and laughing throughout the lesson. We love Marlin Swim!
